Tempted By the Pack

Erotica Paranormal Romance – Werewolves – Menage

Once in a blue moon…
For Rafer Breaux, life in the Louisiana Bayou is harsh, violent—and deeply sensual. The Cajun werewolf lives for his Pack and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep his brothers safe. The longer a wolf lives without a mate, the harder it becomes for that wolf to shift back. To remember that he is a man—and not a monster. And those mates can only be found during a blue moon. When a blue moon finally rises, Rafer will need every weapon in his sensual arsenal to tempt one special woman into his arms and the heart of the Pack.

The Pack hunts for mates
Fighting to keep her family farm, Lark Andrews isn’t looking for love. Even if the very sexy Breaux brothers make her dream of hot bayou nights spent in their arms. When the blue moon leads Rafer to her door, however, Rafer has her rethinking her position on all work and no play. Now, the bayou nights are heating up as Rafer fights to convince her, one sensual touch at a time, to give love and passion a chance. But Rafer isn’t a one wolf deal. Is there room in Lark’s heart—and bed—for Rafer and his Pack?

I wasn’t entirely impressed by Tempted By the Pack, I enjoyed the idea of it, it just felt like it could of been executed better. Not much of a begging or ending. Felt like the book need more, but as short stories go it’s a nice read especially after a heavy hitter.

The characters in this book felt a little flat. The Breaux brothers are intriguing and hot, but we don’t get much on them, I understand they will each get their own book, but it would be nice to have more background. I like Lark, she is independent and strong willed, but it was hard to picture her switching from one to two to more men. The sex scenes were good. They did not overtake the book. As for the plot well not a whole lot. The Pack has to find their fated mates on a blue moon. Their is a little conflict with vampires, but not much background is explained on this.

I got Tempted By the Pack free on Amazon. I’ll pick up the following ones if they become free, otherwise I’m not interested enough in paying for them.

  1. I picked this one up but haven’t tried it yet. So hard when they’re short like this. I’ve read her Fire Jumpers series (book one) and it was a pretty good read. Haven’t gotten the rest yet though.

    • Hi Herding Cats, It was ok! It’s always hit or miss with short stories like this. Either the author can do it and make the characters good or it just falls flat. As you can see it did work for me, but might for others. I’ll have to look into Fire Jumpers I’ve not herd of it.
