Weekly Recap #21 ~ June 30 – July 5th, 2014

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme.

Well wow this week has been busy and emotional. My 2.5-year-old started a new school on Monday. We finally got him in after moving and locating a suitable pre-school. Now I have 9hrs a week to myself. I posted a little on my Facebook and Twitter that my husband went into the hospital Tues. evening. He ended up needing surgery for his heart and did not come home until Saturday. With everything going on in my life I’ve not been in the right mind set to read. Now that my husband is home and son is in school. I’m hopping that everything will seattle down for a while.

Hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July!

  1. Glad to hear your husband is okay though I’m sure that must have been scary. I hope your 2.5 year old is liking school! We put the youngest in for 2 days a week last August and he liked it so much that we moved him to 3 days a week after Christmas. It’s definitely nice to have those hours to get stuff done. Looks like you got some great books! Have a great week!

    • Hi Katherine,
Thank’s for stoping by the blog. Ya it was very scary for both of us. We had no idea what happened to him for a least two days then they finally diagnosed the problem which lead to heart surgery. We got lucky it was found early.
I’m so looking forward to thous few hours for myself. Great chance to read uninterrupted. Have a great week and Happy Reading!
