– 4 Her Dragon’s Fire Stars –

Her Dragon’s Fire is book two in the Dragon Guards series by Julia Mills. This was an improvement from book one. We get enough information and background that this book can stand on its own, more action, adventures and hot steamy sex.

Grace, is an attorney, also Kyndel’s best friend, plus she has an interesting ability. I like strong women and Grace is that. I liked her from the start and how independent, strong, and cahraguess she is.

Aiden, one of our sexy Dragon Guard shifters has been holding onto guilt for over 6-years about his brothers death, only to learn that he is not dead, but out to kill everyone for some twisted vengeance. The author does a great job with his guilt and having him come to terms with everything. I also loved the description of his whiskey colored eyes.

Her Dragon’s Fire pulled me deeper into the world of the Dragon Guards and that there is one perfect match for each dragon. The author gave us more information about the dragon’s, more action, our plot thickens, and we learn how messed up Andrew truly is. Grace and Aidan where a good couple, complemented each other, and when these two got together the sex was steamy. The other characters in this book are each unique and I’m interested in reading their stories. I like reading about them and how they have this family feeling even though they are not blood related, they act so much like a family.

I’m glad that author didn’t have the long winded monologues, “the Universe had made her, just for him”, “the Universe did not make mistakes” or that they are “1000lb dragons” that really got to me in Her Dragon to Slay, but subtly implied about the universe stuff.

Her Dragon’s Fire was a great read, that has some very sexy dragon shifters. We got more action, adventure and deeper into the dragon world. I can’t wait to read about Lance and the women meant for him. If you are a dragon, lover I would recommend giving this series a try.

  1. Sounds like a hot read. I love the idea of dragon shifters. There has been an overabundance of real world animal shifters — wolves, bears, leopards, etc. This is a refreshing change. 🙂

    • Hi Madeleine,

I agree their seams to be an abundance of shifter books with wolves, bears, any type of cat’s, etc. I love dragon shifter book’s and when I can find one I grab it. I still need to get through Julia Mills Dragon Guards #3 and #4. I also love love G.A. Aiken. If you have not picked up her Dragon book’s give it a try. I also just read Soulfire another dragon shifter new release coming the end of the month. Thank you for stoping in and Happy Reading! ^_^
