New Years Resolutions

Ok, these will have to do with the blog and books!

Limit myself to two one-clicks a month. I am notorious for one-clicking free books and books that are on sale. (This will probably go out the window, but I plan to try)

I plan to read two books each month I have one-clicked or bought on my Kindle/Nook that I’ve not read yet. (Most books on my devices are free, so I really need to clean them up)

Post less spotlight tours and more reviews. (I was trying to get the hang of blogging and ended up getting myself into to much promoting books/authors I’ve not read. I want to get back to the books and authors I enjoy.)

Finish or get caught up on series(s) I have started. (Guardians of Eternity, Black Knights, INC., Night Huntress)

Limit the amount of books I review from authors. (It’s great getting free books/ARC(s), but I’ve had a tendency to over stretch myself and not read what I want because I promised to read so and so.)

What are your New Years Resolutions?

I was born and raised in Northern Indiana. I’m an outdoor sun loving reader living near San Fransisco. I’m a mother, wife, dog owner, animal, and book lover. I’m the owner, reviewer, and mind behind Angel’s Guilty Pleasures. My favorite animals are horses & dogs. As for reading I love all things paranormal & urban fantasy. My favorite shifters are dragons!

  1. Those are some awesome goals Angela! Mine are going up Saturday I think I have it. My big one is getting a blog schedule and not just random like I’ve been doing but having some structure. Plus when I have authors on making sure those posts reflect the feel of the blog and aren’t just random.

Good luck with your 2015 goals! I think it’s great you’re wanting to get back to what you love 🙂

Hope you have a fab rest of the day!

    • Thanks’ Anna. I’ve followed you and several other blogs for sometime and then my husband said you should blog since you love reading so much. I thought I understood what I was getting into and I did to a point, but I let things get out of what I like which is reading books and reviewing. I enjoy spotlighting, but I feel like I was doing too much. My main goal is to clean up my Nook/Kindle downloads. So many free books I’ve not read. Now I have to think of a way to keep track of my goal. Hmmm
I did sign up for a few book challenges in 2015 – New To You Reading Challenge which should help with my over abundance of downloads!
