Blurb:

After years of lusting over Jake Wolfe, Nicole finally got a taste of the dirty-talking bad boy. During the scenting ceremony, he showed her how explosive things can be between them. But Nicole doesn’t do love. She doesn’t even know what love is. So how can she know if a relationship with Jake would be the right path to take?

Jake Wolfe wants Nic more than his next breath. She’s curvy, mouthy and so hot his blood boils just thinking of her. But Nic’s been keeping him at a distance. And Jake is tired of her games. One fateful trip to Sin City and all bets are off.

After a fun night of drinking, Nic wakes up married to Jake and with a second shifter wanting her for himself. She’ll have to finally face the feelings she has or shut them out forever. Their newly formed bond will either allow her to open her heart to love or leave Jake without a mate to call his own.

Warning: If you don’t like sex of any kind, this is probably not the book for you. There’s graphic language (yes, he tells her how he likes it), sassy humor (come on, it’s a Milly Taiden story) and women that won’t allow a man to browbeat them into doing what they say (unless they’re naked). This book is intended for adults that have no problems with dirty sex, humor and action. If that’s you, enjoy!

~ 3 Unexpectedly Mated Stars ~

Unexpectedly Mated is book three in the Sassy Mates series by Milly Taiden. It’s a quick insta-love story with a little action and a whole lot of sexiness. Their is danger, misunderstands, and an unexpected mating.

Each book is about a different Wolfe brother and their mates who happen to be friends with their sister. Each book has started us off at the mating ceremony, which is explained to us in Scent of a Mate book one.

Unexpectedly Mated is about Jake and Nicole. We are given hot and heavy right off the bat, with a whole lot more in between. The insta-love in this story did not work so well for me as it did in previous installments. Jake and Nicole, barely know each other, except for a little flirting here or their as they grew up. They did not try to get together except to spend time having sex. I have to say I did like Jake’s dirty talk. Boy can can he talk dirty. As for the heroine it talks about her inability to deal with her feelings, but there’s barely any interaction between her and Jake, to actually feel like she is dealing with feelings except lust for Jake.

Unexpectedly Mated had a lot of sex and not much story, but if you like that then this one may work for you.

  1. I can deal with insta-love in paranormal. I can do sexy but if there’s not much plot, I will pass.
