Early mornings. YEP! I don’t know why? Maybe some of you parents, grandparents, aunts, & uncles can help me out. My son is up anywhere between 4-5:30am everyday. It’s so tiring for me. Even if we keep him up until 8:30 or 9pm he is still up early. Partly I think it has to do with his poop schedule. I can’t seam to get him to change that schedule. Even once we try or he has. He will not go back to sleep! (Coffee Plz!!) My Keurig we got for christmas is getting a work out. Yep I love it and don’t know how I every lived before. This week my son started going to school four days a week instead of the three. He also moved into the Toddler Potty Trained Class. Whoopee! I get an additional 2hours of free time to read and blog. We are still doing soccer on Sat. mornings. He is getting more and more active in wanting to participate and listen to the couch.

Oh those 430 wakeups sound brutal! I’ve been lucky that none of my kids are serious early risers. Though the Tornado really thinks he needs to get up at 6:30 or 7. We’ve actually had better luck getting him to sleep better by moving his bedtime a little bit earlier. Something about the way it hit his sleep cycle got us an extra half hour or so. We’ve also said that he couldn’t get up until 7 and that seemed to help. They sell clocks with suns and moons so they can tell if it’s time to get up if he’s too little to tell time. Otherwise good luck and teach him to make his own cereal and turn on the TV as early as possible so you can get a little more sleep. Have a great week!

Move his bedtime an hour later? OR better yet, move YOUR bedtime an hour (or two) early so you guys are jiving!
I hate that though because I’m not a napper and I’m not one of those people who have the Sandman on speed dial. I’m friends with a few peeps who could just curl up and sleep anywhere at anytime and I hate it!
Well enjoy our free time at least.

I’ve never been a napper. Just can’t do it. If I do I don’t sleep at night. I’ve never been the a morning person always was a night owl, but now with our son well my sleep is all different and if I hear a noise in his room I wake up. It’s the mothers intuition. It can be great or bad depending on what’s going on. Have a great week!

I’m still an early riser, about 5 AM, ever since my son was little. He’s now 20! LOL
I love the mornings and always feel like I’m wasting time lying in bed even though I so want to roll over and go back to sleep. I do use the extra hours to do some blogging and that’s helped me stay ahead.

I never was a morning person, more the night owl, but ever since out son was born it’s to bed by 9 and up when he wakes. At least you are doing something in the morning. My brain is not awake and I’m so at going. Hopeful we will figure something out to get him to stay in his room or sleep later.

I’m working on it. Think we will try a digital clock and work on telling him at 7am he can get up. Will see how it goes.
