~ 4.5 Shifting Shadows Stars ~

This is a fabulous read for fans of the Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega series. We get a great verity on the novellas and more insight into the world and characters. I had fun return to the Mercy Thompson/Alpha and Omega world and leaning a little more about some of my favorite characters as well as seeing that not all vampires and fae are bad.

Individual reviews on each Novella below:

Silver
Loved It! We finally get to see how Samuel and his Dad became wolves and we get to learn more about both of them and their families. We also meet Alana. It was great to see the past of these two.

Fairy Gifts
Liked It! An enjoyable read.

Grey
Loved It! This one had me crying. I liked getting a better understanding of the vampires. In the series they all come of very dark and evil. Here we see a few are not all like this or power hungry.

Seeing Eye
Loved It! I read this one in another anthology and loved it then. I loved it all over again and really hope we get more on these two.

Alpha and Omega
Loved it! I read this one in another anthology and loved it then. This one is about Charles when he meets Anna the prequel to the Alpha and Omega series. I enjoyed reading this novella again and will be re-reading the series soon.

The Star of David
Liked It! This one was enjoyable to read and about emotional healing and family.

Roses In Winter
Liked It! This one was very sweet to read.

In Red, With Pearls
Loved It! This one is a Mystery and has Warren and Kyle from the Mercy Thompson series. I like these two and their relationship. I enjoyed the mystery and learning more about Warren.

Redemption
Liked It! This one is about Ben who is in the Mercy Thompsonseries. It was great to learn more about him and that he does not want to come out as a werewolf, but ends up doing so to help one of his co-workers.

Hollow
Liked It! This one takes place after Night Broken and has Mercy in it. I love Mercy she is such a great character/heroine.

Out Take of Silver Bone
Yes, Loved this. I wanted to know how these two (Samuel and Alana) came back together and this little moment gives us a deeper in depth look.

All I can say is if you have not picked up a Patricia Briggs book then you are missing out on a great Urban Fantasy read. The Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega series are a must read.

    • Thank you Melanie! I love Patricia. She rocks the UF with her wolves. I planning on re-reading her Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega series soon. I won’t to start the adventure all over again. I do like Asil and well all the other side characters. I think my favorite in this one is Seeing Eye though all of the novellas are great!
