Sunday Post/BB&B #68 ~ Sun, Sun, Sun

SP-BBB-angelsgpThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme.

BB&B is a weekly meme, inspired by Talk Supe & Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed, bagged (Won or Gifted) and more.

Finally we are getting summer weather. It’s getting hot and the sun is out. Have to keep the windows open, so the apartment stays cool. California is funny in that most places have no AC. I never new this until I moved here. ^_^ I’m spending my mornings sitting outside and reading. This week went by fast. Nothing exciting happened. Just taking things day by day and enjoying the books I have to read. Any summer plans? Projects you want or need to get done? Vacation? Tell what you are up too this summer!

Lead Me Home

Home is Where the Heat Is #2Lead Me Home

Expected publication: July 7th 2015
He knows just how to tame this filly, but it’ll be one wild ride.

Home Is Where the Heat Is, Book 2

As far as Chloe Garrison is concerned, Nick Westing was carved by the gods. Her one and only plan while visiting her best friend in Texas: get that sexy cowboy into her bed as often as possible until it’s time to return to New York.

After a whirlwind week she slips away, thinking it best to make a clean break. Exceptshe can’t get Nick out of her head. And when he unexpectedly walks into her office, her first instinct is to find her defenses before she loses her panties.

Nick jumped at the chance to accompany his brother to New York for a photo shoot, but now that he’s here, he’s pissed. Seems Chloe is doing everything in her power to ignore him. The tender part of him understands her need for space.

The wilder side of him teases and torments her until she finally admits she’s missed him. Even though she walks away, in his book it’s a win. Because one way or another, he’s going to convince her they belong together.

Warning: Contains a commitment-phobic city girl who wants her cowboy—and hates that she wants him. And a hot, sweet-as-sin Texan with the patience and skill to show her she belongs by his side, in his world, and in his bed.

  1. oh yes! i lived in SF, no ac, just a heater. happy reading!

    • Hello Braine, Thank you for stoping in. Always nice to have you back. I never new no AC in SF until we moved out here. It’s odd, but you get use to it. ^_^

  2. I can’t imagine being in the US without AC! We obviously dont have it in the UK and the heat here drives me insane. I hope you enjoy your new books.

    My weekly recap and haul
    Lauren @ Northern Plunder

    • Lauren thank you for stoping by. I can’t wait to try out the new books I got. I was surprised to learn there was no AC in the San Fran area. I thought every place in the US had AC, but I was wrong. I’m from the mid-west originally and you can’t live without AC just to hot on some days. Have a great week.

  3. I though everywhere would have AC, I’d have it in Scotland if I could afford it, for the three days of summer we have!!

    Heather @ Random Redheaded Ramblings

    • I did too. I did know that in the San Francisco area place don’t have AC. I guess it’s cause it cools off fast once the sun goes down and the Bay their is a breeze in the afternoons. It surprised to find out no AC, but we have adjusted. Thank you for stoping by Heather! Have a wonderful week and Happy Reading!

  4. I wouldn’t dare leave windows open here. It’s too humid and everything would be sticky. LOL Been lots of clouds and hot this week so been reading indoors. I miss being at my little outside office!

    My Sunday Post –

    • Oh I get humid. When we lived in St. Louis it got humid and you had to have AC or you would just be yucky all the time. I love the outside and any chance to read out their I take. Thanks for stoping in Laura. Have a great week.
