Sunday Post/BB&B #74

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news ~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. See rules here: Sunday Post Meme.

BB&B is a weekly meme, inspired by Talk Supe & Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed, bagged (Won or Gifted) and more.

This last week I’ve been feeling a little down. Nothing appeals to me for reading. Even my old favorites are not getting me out of this funk. I’ve been battling some type of head cold/congestion thing for about three weeks now plus the new job on the weekends, so I just don’t feel like I have the time to blog or read anymore. I am hoping after this weeks vacation to go visit family in Chicago. I’ll be out of this funk and can enjoy blogging and reading again. I even have reviews to wright and I just don’t feel like it. =/

  2. Several people have been coming down with a summer reading slump. Mine just happened to be at the beginning of summer. The best thing that has worked for me is something entirely new and different than my normal reads. I hope you enjoy your trip and come back refreshed and out of your slump!

    • Hello and Welcome Charlie ^_^
I do hope this little break will refresh me. I have three books for review to read and then I really really want to read the latest Kate Daniels book. I’ve been meaning to read it asap, but things kept getting in the way and then I just didn’t feel like reading, even an Andrews book which is sad =( since I’m such a big fan. I’ve been looking outside the genre I like, but nothing appeals to me. Maybe this little break will help.

  3. I feel you. I’ve been on a funk since last month which put me behind… reaaaaalllyyy behind! Good luck to us, I hop we can get out of it and enjoy our hobby again.

    • I am with your Braine. I hope we do get out of this funk and can enjoy our hobby again. Things went down hill once I got my new job about three weeks ago. I was having trouble getting into a new returning and finding time for reading/blogging, but this week I just have had no drive and nothing appeals to me in reading even my old favorites. I hope I kick out of it. Good luck to us both ^_^.

  4. Aw boo on feeling sick and meh on the reading/blogging front. Hope you have a good vacation and come back feeling revived!

    • Me too Anna. Thanks for stoping in and the wonderful fun post you do on your blog. I hope this mini-vaccation to see family will help and not stress me out and make things worse. It can go either way with family. Have a fabulous week!

  5. I hope you enjoy time with your family. It will probably be the perfect cure for what ails you and that slump will go away:)
Lovely books this week and some nice wins!

    • I was so happy to get books in the mail. It felt like Christmas. I love Ms. Jay, she is so wonderful to her reviews and the other authors I can’t wait to try them out. This family vacation can go either way on helping, but I am hoping it does. I know the funk will pass, but it kinda stinks. Thanks Laura for stoping by it’s always nice to chat.

  6. Awesome haul. I do love Kait Ballenger’s books. They are excellent. I hope you love all of your new books this week.

    • Hello and Welcome Grace ^_^
I enjoy Ms. Ballenger too. I have been waiting for this next one to come out, but as you may know or not, she took longer because of her pregnancy and then the baby. Her little guy is a cutie. I am also happy with all the books I picked up this week and the ones I won. As you can tell I LOVE books. I just need my funk to go away, so I can get back to what I enjoy. Thank you for stoping by.
