Sunday Post/BB&B #80

SP-BBB-angelsgpAnother week has gone by and I am participating in the Caffeinated Book Reviewer Sunday Post, where we recap the past week on the blog, things to come, showcase books & giveaways plus much more.

I am also participating in BB&B, inspired by Talk Supe & Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed, bagged (Won or Gifted) and more.

Personal Updates

We had a fun time with grandparents while they where in town. Our son always enjoys seeing them. My grandfather has been sick for sometime and it does not look like he will be living much longer. Everyone on my side of the family is very upset. All the grandkids made trips to visit him one last time. It’s been coming, but it’s always sad to know someone whom you love is going to pass away.

Words That Bind by Ash Krafton

Words_That_BindPublished October 10th 2014
Genre: Paranormal Romance – Magic
Social worker Tam Kerish can’t keep her cool professionalism when steamy client Mr. Burns kindles a desire for more than a client-therapist relationship—so she drops him. However, they discover she’s the talisman to which Burns, an immortal djinn, has been bound since the days of King Solomon…and that makes it difficult.

Ethical guidelines are unequivocal when it comes to personal relationships with clients. However, the djinn has a thawing effect on the usually non-emotive Tam, who begins to feel true emotion whenever he is near. Tam has to make a difficult choice: to stay on the outside, forever looking in…or to turn her back on her entire world, just for the chance to finally experience what it means to fall in love.

  1. It is almost harder knowing it is coming because you don’t want to be “expecting” it, but you can’t help it. I’m sorry to hear about your grandfather. Glad you are getting to spend some last moments with him though. Hope you have a good week. You can check out my post in the link below!

My son loves his grandparents and is lucky to see both sides of the family! Have a great week Briane!
