Another week has gone by and I am participating in the Caffeinated Book Reviewer Sunday Post, where we recap the past week on the blog, things to come, showcase books & giveaways plus much more.

I am also participating in BB&B, inspired by Talk Supe & Pop Culture Junkie, where we share with you the books that we have bought, borrowed, bagged (Won or Gifted) and more.

For those that celebrate Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a wonderful day!

We went over to my sister-in-laws for Thanksgiving. The boys my son and her’s are both 4, so they had a blast playing with each other. It reminded me of when I was younger and the whole family would get together (all of us cousins are close in age), so we had the best time playing together and enjoying the food. This year the boys got to have a kid table. How fun!!

Tis the time to get ready for Christmas. We also put up our Christmas Tree and Lights this weekend. Have you started decorating for Christmas? How about shopping do you wait until Black Friday to start? Are you an online shopper or store person? I do all my shopping online. I try to visit the stores as little as possible once Thanksgiving hits.

If you haven’t yet stopped by the Black Friday Book Bonanza make sure to check it out and enter to win some great books, swag and a GC from me. It ends Nov. 30th.

  1. Happy week, Angela! Christmas is just around the corner….

    • Hi Braine, Christmas is fast approaching. I’m so glad my shopping is done. The resin for me to brave the stores is for groceries. Have a great week.

  2. I haven’t started decorating yet, but I definitely am soon! & I’m usually torn on how to shop. I like to be able to get it instantly and not worry about something showing up late or broken. But I also don’t really like going in the store. I usually buy more fragile/expensive things in the store and the cheaper things online. It’s the paranoia in me because I bought my wedding ring online and someone stole it off my porch when it shipped. I was pretty upset because they were supposed to get a signature and didn’t. So yeah, it depends on the item & price 😀

    • Hi Molly, I understand where you are coming from. I don’t usually buy fragile, but if I do it’s in a story. I like to make sure that stuff is not broken. The shipping people get in a hurry. So sorry about your wedding ring. Not fun when things are stollen. Good luck this year on your shopping! Have a great week and Happy Reading.

  3. Sounds like a great Thanksgiving. I have a Christmas tree in my future today. I’m getting Croc’s Return and Sweep in Peace on audio when they are available.

    • I could resist the eBook sale for Crock’s Return, so I picked it up! I’m very very bad about that I see a book on sale and I want it ^_^. That’s going to be a new years resolution to work on limiting my eBook purchases. I like the paperback for Sweep in Peace and Clean Sweep because of the pictures/drawings in them plus I love the author she’s an auto buy.

Have fun and stay warm looking for that tree. My mother-in-law is allergic to the real thing, so we had to go artificial, but as a kid we would go out ever year to pick one out.

  4. That sounds like a lovely Thanksgiving 🙂 I’ve done just a little Christmas decorating. My trees went up the day before Thanksgiving (outside) and the inside one on Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to do a bit more of it this week 🙂

    • That brings back memories. We would always decorate a tree outside with lights and then have the one inside when I was a kid. My son is 4 now, so he had a blast helping us decorate. It’s all he could talk about two days before we did it. Stay warm and have fun decorating! ^_^
