As you can see I’ve bought books even though I was trying not too. I’ve got a total of 53 books I own to read. I’m knocking them off, but I’m still buying new ones. As of 3/27/16 this is what I have/own.
I’ve only read: 17/53 ~ 30% Complete

MY GOALS:

  • Read the books I’ve bought
  • Try to knock all off the ones listed below in 2016
  • I can’t buy myself any books until I’ve read a significant amount of my own. Maybe 5-10 before I buy any new ones. I’ll be fairly flexible with this and see where my guilt leads me.
  • If I’m itching for newness or a book use the library first; before purchasing.

  1. i have piles of books every where, about 500 kindle books and i keep buying more!!! i need help! good for you for holding off buying more till you read some!

    • The Read My Own Dame Books Challenge was one I am glad I picked up. It’s helping me focus on reading the books I do own. I have a hard time holding off on buying new books especially if I see it’s on sale under $1.99. It’s an on again off again thing, but I think I’m doing well this year on limiting my purchases so far. As for my kindle I’m not counting all the freebies. I’ve got severe hundred of those. ^_^
