Sunday Post/BB&B #103 ~ Rain, Rain, Rain!

SP-BBB-STS-Banner-angelsgp

This is my take on the Sunday Post, BB&B, & Stacking The Shelves.

Another week has gone bye and I am participating in the Caffeinated Book Reviewer Sunday Post, where we recap the past week on the blog, things to come, showcase books & giveaways plus much more.

I also participate in BB&B/Stacking The Shelves. The BB&B is inspired by The Story Siren, Talk Supe, Pop Culture Junkie, and Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, wither they are bought, borrowed, bagged (Won or Gifted). It can be physical or virtual additions to your shelves.

Personal Notes:

It’s been raining for several days now. I keep singing Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head by BJ Thomas every time I walk out the door. Enjoy! ^_^

Around the blog this week Anna @ Herding Cats and Burning Soup does Word from the Herd and this week she talks about Why I’m NOT Visiting Blogs. Also Rainy Day Ramblings does Tell Me Southing Tuesday’s and this week she asks about blogger circles. Last the March Take Control of Your TBR pile is in full swing.

Angels’ Blood

Angel's Blood(Guild Hunter #1)

by Nalini Singh

Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she is the best- but she does not know if even she is good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, Elena knows failure is not an option—even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.

The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other—and pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt does not destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just might. For when archangels play, mortals break.

  1. We’ve had some cloudy sprinkle days, but I would love a nice rainstorm. But then again the weather has been so nice, I can’t complain. Hope you enjoy your new books! You can check out my post in the link below!

    • It’s monday and the rain has finally broke. The sun is coming out and it’s nice. A week of rain was good for us in CA, but It got tiring. Thanks for stoping by Lisa. Have a good week and happy reading!

  2. Envious of your swag!

It’s been raining here too, I love it though because low pollen, no allergies, and not so hot.

    Happy reading, Angela!

    • Ah yes, the rain is good for those that have allergies. I don’t mind the rain I actually love it, but I don’t have a nice comfy cozy place to snuggle up and read, so I’m getting a little tired of the rain and ready to see the sun.

Have a fantastic week and happy reading, Braine!

  3. Oh no. That songs going to be stuck in my head for days now! LOL What a terrific haul of new reads. Lots of the authors I new to me. And a few of those covers are hard to resist too.

    • Well that was my goal. I didn’t want to suffer alone… ^_^ I do love covers and their are some pretty ones this week.
Have a wonderful week and happy reading, Laura.

  4. I’m feeling the rain too. Gets tiresome. But it makes for cozy reading. Got me curious about Knight and Day. Enjoy your haul.

    • Thanks vvb. Knight and Day was a lot like Mission Impossible – action packed with some laughs. Rain does make for some cozy reading and I did get a lot of reading done last week and several reviews which was nice, but having a 4-year-old that is coped up inside makes for some very stressful days too. It’s still raining this weekend I don’t know if its every going to stop. ^_^

  5. Oh I love Katie MacAlister’s dragons. And Nalini Singh. And Ilona Andrews. And Jeaniene Frost. We have similar reading tastes for sure. New follower on Bloglovin’.

  6. It looks like we’re about to get yalls rain. lol It’s trying to get going here but so far just some sprinkles (but oh the sky is ugly).

I need to try out that series from Singh. I have that book…somewhere. Ergs! Hope you’re enjoying it!

And thank ya for the post shout out 🙂

    • You are welcome Anna. I love to do post shout outs when I find ones that are interesting. I can’t do it all, so I try to share what I find.

Everyone keeps tell me to try the Guild Hunters by Singh, since I love her Psy-Changeling. I think it’s going on three years now that people keep saying you need to read this one. You will like it. I just haven’t found the time, but now that I’m doing challenges; especially finish the series. I thought why not make a point in starting it.

I’m happy to share the rain. It’s been raining a week now here in CA and I’m ready for sun to come out. We always need the rain, but boy I’m tired of it.

Have a fabulous week and happy reading!

  7. I love the Guild Hunter series. I’m glad you’re starting it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It starts off UF, but switches to PNR later. It is a fun series. I can’t tell you which is my favorite between Psy/Changeling and Guild Hunter. They are equally great series.
Melanie Simmons @mlsimmons recently posted…Consumed Audiobook by Rebecca Zanetti (REVIEW)My Profile

    • I might end up in the same predicament about not be able to decide on a favorite of the two once I get going. I did not know it starts off UF then goes PNR. Just like the Kate Daniels and Mercy Thompson. Which I love both series. I’m sure I’m going to enjoy the Guild Hunters.

Thanks for swing bye and happy reading!
