Asteria of the Second Legion of demons has messed up. Royally. With a capital everything. Certain that her dark lord is about to end her in the most painful way imaginable, she’s stunned when the fallen angel offers her an uncharacteristic shot at redemption—and determined not to fail him again. With her life on the line, she sets out on a mission that sounds easy but proves to be far from it when a hot slice of angelic eye candy comes storming into her life, stirring dangerous desires and tempting her more than any male before him.

Fifth Commander of the Echelon, the highest order of angels in Heaven and those responsible for hunting demons, he will allow nothing to stand in the way of fulfilling the mission he began close to a century ago so he can finally return to his home. On the verge of securing the half-breed he has been hunting, he can almost taste victory—until a sassy demoness struts into his life, awakening wicked needs and forbidden hungers that will test him to his limit.

When their mission brings them on a collision course, can they fight the fierce heat of the passion that blazes between them to claim a victory for their side or will it burn their resistance to ashes and set their hearts on fire with a love both forbidden and eternal?

Angels & Demons! Oh My!

Awakened by a Demoness is the tenth installment in the astounding Eternal Mates series by Felicity Heaton. It can easily be read as a stand-a-lone.

I was having such bad luck with books, until this one showed up. I devoured this book and couldn’t put it down for the life of me. It had everything I’ve come to love in the Eternal Mates series. Action, adventure, twists, surprises, suspense, captivating unique characters, and sexual tension that was off the charts. Ms. Heaton knows how to weave an intricate and lethal story. Her books are engaging, gripping, and pull together a verity of supernatural species.

This story was off and running from the first to the last page. Their was no shortage of surprises and twists that will leave you in aww of this latest installment.

We are never given a dull moment; between our leads and their mission. I loved Asteria our Demon, she’s sassy and Ray our elite Angel, is rigid. Both where fascinating and when they run across each other, it’s a collision course to something mountainous. Together these two had their issues, making the conversations amusing and the sexual tension fierce. And, what we learn about these two along the way. Well I didn’t see that twisting SURPRISE!

I also enjoy how the author weaves in other characters. They just pop up on the pages giving us a little taste and showing us a small piece of the picture for that character, who may eventually get a story. It wets the appetite. Leaving you wanting more.

Hands down Heaton hit this one out of Hell. Loved it! If you have not picked up this series yet, you need too. Paranormal Romance fans will love the uniqueness of the world, characters, and verity of supernaturals. It’s a must read!

Rated: 5 Awakened Stars

  1. It’s so nice when you finally have a 5 star read after having bad luck with books. I had a few meh books in a row and am now reading two really good books, which makes me happy.

I’ve seen this series around, but haven’t read any fo the books. I am one of those people who prefer to read a series in order even if you can read them as standalones. This sounds like one of those books were you don’t want to stop reading once you started. And I love well done twists! Great review!

    • It’s a FABULOUS series. One that captured me from the first book and I just love when a new installment comes out. FHeaton is quite a storyteller. A lot of them can be read as standalone, but I am with you even if it can, I prefer to read a series in order.
Thank’s for checking out my review!
