Sunday Post/BB&B #115 ~ Father’s Day

This is my take on the Sunday Post, BB&B, & Stacking The Shelves.

Another week has gone bye and I am participating in the Caffeinated Book Reviewer Sunday Post, where we recap the past week on the blog, things to come, showcase books & giveaways plus much more.

I also participate in BB&B/Stacking The Shelves. The BB&B is inspired by The Story Siren, Talk Supe, Pop Culture Junkie, and Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, wither they are bought, borrowed, bagged (Won or Gifted). It can be physical or virtual additions to your shelves.

Personal Note:

Where did the week go? It was Monday and then the weekend showed up! I spent Monday – Wednesday taking care of a very very sick boy and of course my husband wasn’t feeling the greatest, so he stayed home and worked. I never got my free downtime that I get when they both head off, one to daycare and the other to work.

Any plans in place for a summer vacation? It’s summer and school is out or ending soon. We will be leaving at the end of the month for a nice vacation to see family and we also will be leaving our boy with grandparents while mom and dad head off overseas to Marseille France. It will be my fist visit to France. I’m excited and nervous; because it will be the first time being away from our boy for an extended period of time and we will be out of the country at the time too.

It’s Father’s Day today. I almost forgot that Father’s Day was today/this weekend. Oh boy. Wishing everyone a Happy Father’s Day!

  5. Sounds like you had a busy week. Sorry you didn’t get the down time you were expecting. I hope that hubs and the boy are feeling better. It is exciting that you’re going to France. I’ve never been there, but I’ve been to Germany and England, that was when I was a child. I would love to go back. I hope you have a great time, which I’m sure you will.

    • I did a lot of traveling as a kid too, but France is one location I haven’t been to yet. I’m hoping it will be fun. The boys are better, but I am not not doing so good. Thank’s for stoping in. Have a fabulous week and happy reading!

  6. I too also forgot it was Fathers Day luckily my dad told me he doesn’t want to do anything for it, so long as he sees me this week! :’)

    • My dad lives far away, but we had a great time with my hubby and son doing the things he likes. It turned out to be a nice day. Thank’s for stoping by Lauren. Have a wonderful week and happy reading!
