Angel’s Guilty Pleasures

 

Welcome Rhys and Enza. Thank you both for joining me today! Oh, you brought muffins. Thank you!

Enza: You’re welcome. I brought different kinds since I wasn’t sure what your favorites are. 

Blueberry muffins are my favorite, but I like all kinds.

Enza and Rhys sit on the couch. Rhys drapes Enza’s legs across his thighs, gives a chin lift to Angela. 

Rhys: Hi, Angela.

<takes a bit of muffin> OMG this is amazing! 

Enza:  Thank you! Eat lots!

So Rhys, what was your first thought when you grabbed Enza and found yourself falling through a portal with her?

Rhys gives Enza a sly grin. I was sure she was working with the enemy.

Enza slaps his bicep. Hey!

Rhys shrugs. All I knew was I wasn’t letting her go until I got answers.

Enza: Which you did. Pretty quickly, I might add, since you scanned me with your phone while I was passed out.

<chew chew>

Enza, I have to say some of the things you created, <takes another bit> the guys just go crazy for. I can see why! These muffins are delicious!! Tell us what’s your favorite thing to cook? 

Enza: I love making those chocolate thumbprint sweet rolls that I was making the first time Rhys stopped in at Java Genie. Thank goodness I can practically make those in my sleep, since he was staring at me the whole time. Talk about pressure!

Rhys, what’s your favorite thing that Enza cooks?

Rhys: Everything.

Come on, I bet you have a number one favorite.

Rhys shakes his head. No, seriously, my woman is a culinary queen. Everything she makes is good.

<eats more> <gets a funny look from the couple>

Have you two yet explored the deliciousness of food in a more private moment?   

Enza: Um…

Rhys looks at her: When are you making those chocolate thumb things again? 

Enza: Oh my god.

Rhys: Yeah, that batch of melted chocolate isn’t going to make it to the rolls.

Enza blushes

<takes another bit, moans with pleasure, mmmm>  I just had to ask! I know there are a few ladies out there that were thinking about it, ok I was think about it too.

Rhys tilts his head: And the pound cake, with the icing you make? That too. Not going on the cake.

Enza covers up a giggle. Why bother mixing the icing…we could just use the powdered sugar.

Rhys gives a slow nod. Now we’re talking.

I have to say that first kiss, wozzers! <fans self> What where your first impressions on that first kiss?  

A huge smile spreads across Enza’s face. I was DYING. Rhys is such a good kisser. I would have done anything he asked me. No questions asked. I would have gotten naked with him right there in the park.

Rhys stares at her like he’s ready to pounce. 

Enza: What? I would’ve. And I did invite you in later…

Rhys: Damn. *clears throat*  I couldn’t wait to taste you. And after you fed me gelato, you stood no chance, bella.

Enza’s breath catches. The room gets quiet.

Okay, um, lets move onto the lighting round. I’ll ask you your favorite thing and you both will tell me of the top of your head. Are you ready?  Here we go!

Favorite music? Enza? Katy Perry. Rhys? Linkin Park.

Favorite book? Enza? The Black Dagger Brotherhood books. Rhys? Anything about computer coding. 

Enza scrunches her nose. You read about that stuff in your spare time?

Rhys: The Dagger Brotherhood? Who the hell are they?

Favorite movie? Enza? My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Rhys? Rear Window.

Enza: That old Hitchcock mystery movie? Really?

Rhys: Sure, bella. Gotta love a good old-fashioned who-dun-it where the main dude never even leaves his apartment.

Enza: Aw, that’s kinda sweet. You have to watch it with my grandpa. He knows all of Jimmy Stewart’s lines.

Favorite computer game? Enza? Haha…I’ve never played one. Everything I try starts glitching. Rhys? Halo 4

Favorite dessert? Enza? Gelato. Rhys? Anything she makes.

Favorite author? Enza? JR Ward. Rhys? *shrugs* I’m not much of a fiction fan. I may read biography of a general or something.

Now I know you too are off to spend some mated time together, but before you go tell us something only you each know about the other? 

Enza gives a giddy smile: Rhys is teaching himself Italian so he can talk to my grandparents in their primary language. It’ll be a surprise.

Rhys smirks: None of what only I know about my woman is PG.

Enza turns red again: Oh my god, you’re so bad. And wait—you know about the new recipe I’m, working on! The cupcakes with the strawberry filling.

Rhys: Oh yeah. Add that to the list of things that will never make it to their intended food destination.

Enza shakes her head.

<looks around. looks down. oh the muffins are all gone>
