Tell Me Something Tuesday: Deserted Island Books

Posted on by

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post on Rainy Day Ramblings where we discuss a wide range of topics from books to blogging. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog..

This weeks question:

Deserted Island books: What five books would you want to have if you were stranded?

Oh man, this is a tough questions. You can only have 5 books and if it’s a series it needs to be one of the good ones you can read over and over, but not feel like you are missing anything. I would love to bring my eReader, but then you need power and of course a deserted island wouldn’t have a way to recharge my device unless I was a smart person who knew how to rig something up and since I don’t. I’ll have to pick.

And without further ado, my 5 picks for a desert island….

Heart of the Highland Wolf (Heart of the Wolf, #7) by Terry Spear
Wild Wolf (Shifters Unbound, #6) by Jennifer Ashley
Dark Wolf (Dark, #25) by Christine Feehan
Wolf with Benefits (Pride, #8) by Shelly Laurenston
Oracle’s Moon (Elder Races, #4) by Thea Harrison

I’d love for you to share with me your 5 picks for a Deserted Island!

I'm an outdoor sun loving reader living near San Fransisco. I’m a mother, wife, animal & book lover. I'm the owner, reviewer & mind behind Angel’s Guilty Pleasures. My favorite animals are horses & dogs. As for reading I love all things paranormal & urban fantasy & my favorite shifters are dragons.

  1. Only 5 books. That would be really hard. I like you kindle idea. I’ll get have a solar charger. 😀 Plus, I would want audiobooks. LOL

I can’t remember the name, but Blayne/Bo from Shelly Laurenston’s Pride series would be on that list. Probably something from Cole’s IAD series. Something from Kate Daniels too.

    • I know right? 5 books? ^_^
I’m with you, they need to make a solar charger for the eReaders then you can have books and audios…
      Good picks!

  2. I see a strong wolf theme in your pick. I sure hope there are no wolves at night on your deserted island. Thanks for partipicating. It was fun to see your choices!

    • I truly didn’t plan it to be all wolves. It just happened to end up that way ^_^. Oh ya, I hope no wolves on my Island, well unless they are a sexy shifter.

  3. I see a connection here in your picks. Would it be the wolves? LOL I just finished Wild Wolf. I really enjoyed it.

    • After I made my picks… I thought wow I picked all wolves when Dragons are my favorite shifters, but clearly these books are the ones I have reread more and loved over and over again. ^_^

  4. I would have to say…The Warlord wants Forever by Kresley Cole, Shattered by Briana Michaels, Dark Prince by Christine Feehan, Dark Lover by J.R. Ward, and Bad Things by Cynthia Eden.

    • Ooo those are great picks. I liked Dark Prince by Feehan. Need to still try Cole and Eden out. Never heard of Michaels. Thank’s for sharing. I like your picks ^_^
