Book Tag: My Life In Books

Posted on by

This Book Tag I found on Rantings of a Reading Addict.

1. Find a book for each of your initials.

A

Angels’ Flight (Guild Hunter) by Nalini Singh

E

Ecstasy Claimed (The Guardians of the Realms) by Setta Jay

C

Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega) by Patricia Briggs

2. Count your age on your bookshelf. What book is it?

My bookshelf: I try to keep authors together and series in order, but other then that no true order to the shelf. So, lets see what book it will be…..

3. Pick a book set in your city/country.

4. Pick a book that represents a destination you’d love to travel to.

I’ve been lots of place, but one that’s on my bucket list is Scotland & Greece. I found a book to one of my destinations, but I can’t think of a book that is set in Greece.

5. Pick a book that’s your favorite color.

6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

My first romance/urban fantasy book. In my about page I talk about how I got started into reading and it was all thank’s to my aunt-in-law, who is an avid reader. She said you have to read this book and gave me her nook right their. I read this book in one day and have been hooked every since.

7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Possessed by a Dark Warrior… Bleu, our hero, plays some important parts throughout the series and he captured my heart from the moment he appeared for the first time. His story had been a long time coming and I was on pins and needles waiting for his novel, so it was heartbreaking that it didn’t live up to what I was anticipating. I had so many issues and almost DNF’d the novel.

8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment when you finish it?

Hmmm…. I don’t have one book in particular. My main accomplishment will be finishing series books. I have Chicagoland Vampires series (Midnight Marked & Blade Bound) to go. And also completed the Argeneau series, last book read in the series was #22.

I’d like to see your answers, do your own post (and tag me so I’ll see it) or jot them in the comments!

    • This was a fun Book Tag to do. ^_^

  2. Some fun answers and some tough questions. I will just be happy when I get caught up with my TBR, I don’t know which book would give me the greatest accomplishment. I just want to be ahead, but that’s never going to happen. I like your choices. Some great series up there.

    • Rantings of a Reading Addict has found several great book tags. I’ve been saving them and when I have time putting a post together. This one was fun. Thank’s Kathy for checking it out and sharing. I’d love to see what you come up with. ^_^

  4. You picked some great books! I haven’t read Bleu’s book yet. He was my favorite character so far. I’ve been wanting to pick up the Argeneau series, but 22 books is so intimidating! Great answers!

    • Bleu was my favorite character from the get go. I still love him, but his book really disappointed me. I don’t know if it was all the hip, the wait, the build up, but I didn’t feel it did him justice. I was sad. It’s the only book in the Eternal Mates series by Ms. Heaton that I rated so low. It’s hard when you love the author and then the book really doesn’t work for you. I can’t wait to see what you think of Bleu’s book when you get to it. We such similar taste in reads, so I just love reading your reviews and seeing what you thought of a book I’ve read or have on my TBR to get to.

I total understand the 22 book thing. I want read Dark-Hunterverse series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, but omg it’s up to 28 books. WOW. One day I’ll start it. I need to finish Jane Yellowrock and The Dresden Files series first.

      Thank’s for stopping in Tanya.

  5. Neat tag! I will definitely have to do this one at some point. I love the Nalini Singh, Patricia Briggs and Jeannine Frost series. Bummer about your favorite series character’s book not working out. I had that happen this year with the last of the Elle Kennedy series this year.
I still need to try the Chicagoland Vamps and Argeneau series.

    Great tag answers, Angela!

    • Thank’s Sophia. I’ve been saving the tags that pop up at Rantings of a Reading Addict and when I get time putting a post together. Their have been some fun ones. Some of them you could do yearly because your answer will change.

Singh, Briggs, and Frost are all fun and wonderful authors to read. It’s the first time I’ve had one of my favorite series and characters in the series not work out. It was very disappointing and sad. I guess it’s bound to happen, but that first time =/.

I haven’t found time yet to finish Chicagoland Vampires. The series is complete now, so it’s the perfect time read it. You don’t have to wait for the next book. As for the Argeneau that one I need to take breaks between books. They start feel the same and not much new happens. I really love the early books as for the later ones I feel their just not as good. Needs something to shake things up. ^_^
