We made it through one full month of school. My son just loves school and everyday when I pick him up he chatters away about his day. I love listening to him talk about all the fun and exciting things he did that day. We also got school pictures back. OMG he looks surprised. We are going to do the retake on picture retake day. Hopeful we get something a little better. AYSO Soccer is going strong and we just finished up our last month of swim classes until summer. I bought some more plants to add to my garden. I love being able to have plants again. They just add to my enjoyment of being outside.

What a great reading month for you. I love the Kate Daniels series! Glad your son is loving school. Cuddle Up, Goodnight looks so cute, my grand daughter is into elephants right now, so I will have to look for that book.

Oh wow, that’s a whole lot of new books! I see some I know, and others I might want to discover 😉
How nice that your son enjoys school! My kids are mostly OK with school, too, but this fall is a bit tough, because the weather is all over the place, so we all have different types of colds we’re trying to fight off.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading 🙂

I love that you can grow calla lilies in your yard. So lucky! We can buy them here but can’t plant them since they would die with our colder weather. And it looks like you have been busy with the books and movies as well. I loved the mechanic! Very good movie. And I see you are getting caught up on Patricia briggs series as well. It just gets better and better as you go alone. I hope you have a good October and and nice weekend. I’m sure your sons next photo shot will turn out better.

I love Briggs. I own Mercy Thompson in eCopy, but I wanted to experience the audiobooks, though I’ve run into a problem with my library not having book 8 in audio. I really want to finish out the series in audio before I read the latest release Silence Fallen #10. I still need to get to that one.
Ya, living in CA we don’t get the cold cold weather like others, so my lily’s come back each year after I plant them. I wasn’t sure if they would, but the 3 I planted last year did, so I picked up 2 more to add to the flower bed. I’m trying out a Hibiscus plant. I hope it will do well.
The Mechanic was good. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the movies, but they where entertaining. Got to love the library. I get a chance to try out so many movies that I wouldn’t go see in the Theater. My God the theater is just goodly expensive. Especially out her in CA, so I wait until it’s out on DVD or BlueRay and then request. I’m on the wait list for WONDER WOMEN. I wanted to see it in the theater, but never made it.
Have a great October and always a pleasure having you stopping and chat.
