Taran Wird, who commands the power to wield fire and lightning, is an oddity in the supernatural world. But neither Taran nor her unique sisters compare to the bizarre entity known as Destiny. And Taran is assigned to protect her.

Born of two witches, Destiny is revered among the supernatural elite for her acute ability to predict the future. Her biggest prophecy involves Taran’s sister, Celia, whom Destiny decreed will bear children strong enough to take on the evil that’s rising. Yet Destiny is not alone in her predictions, or individuality.

When Johnny Fate, a rock star among humans and a male version of Destiny is discovered, his powers and Destiny’s clash, triggering the start of Destiny’s demise and altering the fate of Celia’s unborn children.

Taran, her werewolf lover Gemini, and their allies must determine if it’s Fate who will decide what will become of Celia’s children, or if their lives and the world will perish with Destiny.

Of Flame and Fate is one wild ride. The battle between good and evil continues and the fate of the Weird Girls children are at stake.

You can read this as a stand-a-lone, but I recommend at least reading Taran’s story in order or the full series in order.

Their’s an ongoing struggle against the Dark group and now a new situation has arisen that will affect the future in particular the Weird Sisters future children.

The writing is engaging and wonderful. Taran’s life is crazy, but for her it’s as stable as things get. Her and Gemini are solid, but the world around them is going up in flames. Their was no putting this one down. The book is full of Taran getting into insane situations and driving Gemini crazy and then having them share a tender moment. We get to see all four sisters and watch as they fight for their and their unborn children’s future. I like that the sister stick together even when things get dicey.

Man o’ man this one was so much fun! I was surprised with the direction things went and loved having all my favorite characters back together. We get a little more insight into Misha and Emme’s maybe romance to Bren is hinted at. Their was loads of action and two very powerful witches that shouldn’t exist at the sometime affecting the world and future.

Urban Fantasy fans will enjoy the action, emotion, enthusiasm, and humor in this high octane adventure.

  2. Great review Angela! I have a couple of these series on my tbr list! Shared on all my socials!!

    • I started the series with book one and now here we are at book 8. It’s been fun, emotional, and a journey. Taran’s stories can be read as stand-a-lones, but reading at least her books in order make them better. Glad you enjoyed todays review and I appreciate the share.

  3. I really love the cover on this book. Although, I’m not too much of an Urban Fantasy reader this book has me intrigued for sure. I enjoyed reading your review as well.

    • I really love the covers for Taran’s books. They suit her and her books. Their is a little PNR, but for the most part it’s UF. Thank’s for checking out Of Flame and Fate review. Glad you enjoyed.
