    • Thank’s for sharing your Best Read of 2017 picks.

  18. I loved most of these too (at least the ones I’ve read). I still need to grab the new Thea Harrison. It seems when I don’t get audios from publishers, it takes me longer to get to them.

    • ^_^ HeHe… Hope you get a chance to try Harrison’s latest release. I think she has another planned in 2018. I can’t wait.

  19. Some of my favorite reads of 2017 are Feversong by Karen Moning, Eleventh Grave in Moonlight and The Trouble with Twelfth Grave by Darynda Jones, Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs, Silver Silence and Archangel’s Viper by Nalini Singh, White Hot and Wildfire by Ilona Andrews, and Spellbinder by Thea Harrison.

  26. I like your list also! There are some there I will have to try. I love Thea Harrison. I thought Moonshadow was better than Spellbinder. I’ve been trying to get to Nalini Singh for awhile. Anne

    • I started Singh with her Psy-Changeling series and since I was loving it, everyone said to try her Guild Hunter and so I finally did in 2016. The Psy-Changeling is my favorite, but I do love several of the books in Guild Hunter. They are both unique series to read. I’m partial to shifters ^_^. I loved Spellbinder, but I agree I thought Moonshadow was better. It was hard with the main character in Spellbinder, but once we got his backstory I feel for him. Thank’s for stopping in.

  27. Great list! Of course Andrews made mine was well. I need to get back to Heaton’s series. I’m a few behind.

    • Andrews made a lot of people’s lists. I can’t help but LOVE them. They are amazing writers and I always go back to their books when I’m in a book slump. Something about them grabs you each and every time. ^_^ Heaton I’m all caught up except for the latest release in the Eternal Mates series, have to get to that one after the Holidays. Family visiting, so no me time to just read. Have a great week and thank’s for stopping in.

  28. Ilona Andrews duo is my top pick of this year! I only just discovered their books and fell in love. Thea Harrison is next on my list to read. The Moonshadow series sounds really good.

    • LOVE Andrews. I devour their work and have all their stuff in multiple formats. ^_^
Harrison is great too. I really like her Elder Races and the new series Moonshadow which is in the same world as the Elder Races.

  29. I’ve heard great things about Ilona Andrews’ books and Nalini Singh’s as well, but I’ve not read anything by then! I’ve started to read books by J.R. Ward and her book Devil’s Cut was one of my favorite books this year. Elizabeth Hoyt and Tessa Bailey’s books were amazing this year. 2017 was a great year in publishing and reading!

    Great list! Happy holidays. =)

Check out my Top Ten post!

    • You are missing out on some amazing writing if you haven’t tried Andrews or Singh. Both authors are well worth reading. Andrews is my top pick. I can’t get enough of them ^_^. I read J.R. Ward a long time ago, but have stopped reading the BDB series. I liked the earlier books in the series, but started to not care for plot lines not being finished. Still she’s a great author to try out. Haven’t read Holt or Bailey. Thank’s for sharing some Top Picks for 2017.

  30. Archangel’s Viper – Nalini Singh
    Red Wolf – Jennifer Ashley
Secrets In Death and Echoes In Death- JD Robb
    Nothing Stays Buried PJ Tracy

Loved all of these in 2017
