Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – Feb. 2018

February has come and gone. The weather in California where I live has been mostly sun and in the mid 50’s, but we had one week of 70 degree weather for 5 days strait. It was so nice that I spent the time outside reading, working on the blog, and gardening. I bought some hanging planters and planted them. I also bought Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food and have been using it as instructed once a week. My plants haven’t looked this good in a while. My rosebush I didn’t think it would make it, it didn’t do well last year, but with the help of the plant food, it’s come back to life along with other plants in my garden.

Besides my garden I’ve got birds visiting daily. I’ve got a Mountain Blue Jay. Haven’t caught a picture of him, but he’s nice and have several other birds that stop by the bird feeder we put in last year.

What else have we been up too. We do soccer year round and my boy loves it. Kindergarten Celebrated their 100 days this month and they went on their first field trip. Unfortunately my son missed the field trip since he was sick. They sent home a notice on Friday of possible strep throat, that weekend my son got sick (no signs of strep throat), but he had a fever and coughing all weekend. Then Monday the field trip day and he’s still coughing, so I kept him home.

I participate in several hops throughout the year and also I offer up surprise giveaways. Here are the winners of this months giveaways.

    • I can understand forgetting them… My boy has been a big help on reminding mommy that the plants need to be watered. They sure are turning out nice. I can’t wait tell spring/summer when they all bloom. ^_^

  3. So glad you got some great weather. The flowers look gorgeous! You had a busy month! You had some great listens. Did you listen to Jessie Kay’s story in the Original Heartbreakers series yet? I have to go back and grab that one. Was wondering if it was good for a few laughs.

    • I’ve lessened to all the Original Heartbreakers except the latest release, since my library doesn’t have it in audio yet. I need to request it. It had some great laughs in it. As always thank you for visiting Tanya.

  4. Your flowers look beautiful!! Can’t wait to start planting my vegetable and flower gardens!! Northeastern pa isn’t warm enough yet!! Awesome wrap up angela!! Shared on all my socials!!

    • With living in California we keep our plants year round. Some do better then others, but it is nice to have things growing all the time or different plants blooming throughout the year. I really enjoy the Tack Control Challenge and planning out what to read in March to nock of my TBR. March is the only month I plan my reading. Good luck to you too!! Thank you for visiting Aj.

  6. It looks like you have been very busy. I love to watch the birds. I hear the wren’s talking loudly outside my door right now. 🙂

    • February was a nice month. I didn’t have much luck in my reading. A lot of them turned out to be 2 stars or I DNF’d them. Not fun!! the re-reads are always wonderful. The birds area a lot of fun to watch. I can see them from our dinning room table or living room. Thank you Sherry for visiting. Always a pleasure!

  7. I love to see the birds you have. The one in the photo is beautiful! Miracle Grow is a wonderful product! I use it myself. Your so lucky to have nice warm weather. I hate the cold and the snow here. Soon spring will be here. It looks like you have read many good books. Thanks for this update. Love this!

    • I should have been using Miracle Grow all along… Great product. I enjoy the birds and I like teach/showing my son how to work in the garden and to take time to see the birds. As for our weather in Feb we only had one really nice week and after that it’s been in the 50’s cold and rainy. I’m ready for warm weather. Spring can’t come soon enough. Thank’s Mary for visiting. Always a pleaser to have stop in and comment.
