The steamy, passionate, and thrilling series finale!

Desert fox shifter Ella Kitt is better at risking her life than her heart. Not that she's expecting to do either when she flies to Maui to help her Special Forces comrades with an easy security job. Or maybe not such an easy job, because she’s forced to work — and live — in close quarters with smoking hot army hero, Jake McBride. Jake isn’t just the one-night-stand she can’t forget — he’s also a human, totally off-limits to shifters of her kind.

Jake has only had one goal since returning stateside after years of active service: to find the woman he loves. But he didn’t expect to find his kickass lover so soon, and he’s caught off guard. There’s something alluring and powerful about Ella — not to mention the mystery that surrounds her and his new employers at Koa Point. How exactly can a group of Special Forces vets afford to live on an exclusive oceanfront estate? What kind of enemy are they on guard against in their sun-kissed corner of paradise? And is that enemy targeting someone at the estate — or Jake?

ALOHA SHIFTERS: JEWELS of the HEART is a thrilling new series set on the tropical shores of Maui. Each story is a page-turner packed with action, emotion, and romance! If you like Magnum, PI and smoldering hot, alpha shapeshifters, you'll love these books!

* No cliff hangers. Each story is a standalone paranormal romance with adult content. This story features strong heroines, alpha heroes, werewolves and shapeshifters, billionaires, military romance, paranormal suspense, action-adventure romance, fantasy romance, and exotic, tropical locales! *

Lure of the Fox continues the saga of the Aloha Shifters and concludes story arc of the Spirt Stones.

I have adored this series and community of shifters. This story is packed with action, suspense, and romance. It’s well written with a few twists plus a verity of shifters to enjoy. We get to see all our previous couples and a unique kind of shifter. The world is built beautifully. I have enjoyed how Ms. Lowe builds her world and characters.

Lure of the Fox was a sweet romance of second chances. Destiny will not be denied this time around. I had a little trouble getting into the story. Not sure if it was me or the story. If felt a little slow for my taste and things didn’t pick up until the 50% mark when the action starts to happen. The romance between Jake and Ella was sweet. It’s a slow build. Even though they have previously been together each kinda pushes the other way, well Ella more then Jake, until they deiced to give things a chance.

The ending was acceptable. We don’t get closer on Moira. She is the evil dragon shifter who wants the Spirt Stones, so the author has left it open for more stories to pop up. And, the way Lure of the Fox ends and the talk that the Aloha Shifters have about bringing in some Security help, well we might be getting a spin-off with more shifters to enjoy.

Lure of the Fox was a satisfying read. I’m excited to read the spin-off. I do recommend reading this series in order, but it’s not necessary, though you might get better enjoyment if you do.
