TMST: Spring Picks 2018

Rainy Day Ramblings hosts Tell Me Something Tuesday. I’m a little late getting this post out for today, but here are my picks to this Tuesdays question.

My Spring Picks for 2018

Mercenary Kate Daniels must risk all to protect everything she holds dear in this epic, can’t-miss entry in the thrilling #1 New York Times bestselling urban fantasy series.

Kate has come a long way from her origins as a loner taking care of paranormal problems in post-Shift Atlanta. She’s made friends and enemies. She’s found love and started a family with Curran Lennart, the former Beast Lord. But her magic is too strong for the power players of the world to let her be.

Kate and her father, Roland, currently have an uneasy truce, but when he starts testing her defenses again, she knows that sooner or later, a confrontation is inevitable. The Witch Oracle has begun seeing visions of blood, fire, and human bones. And when a mysterious box is delivered to Kate’s doorstep, a threat of war from the ancient enemy who nearly destroyed her family, she knows their time is up.

Kate Daniels sees no other choice but to combine forces with the unlikeliest of allies. She knows betrayal is inevitable. She knows she may not survive the coming battle. But she has to try.

For her child.

For Atlanta.

For the world.

New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh dives beneath the surface of her Psy-Changeling world into a story of passionate devotion and selfless love…

Security specialist Bowen Knight has come back from the dead. But there’s a ticking time bomb in his head: a chip implanted to block telepathic interference that could fail at any moment—taking his brain along with it. With no time to waste, he should be back on land helping the Human Alliance. Instead, he’s at the bottom of the ocean, consumed with an enigmatic changeling…

Kaia Luna may have traded in science for being a chef, but she won’t hide the facts of Bo’s condition from him or herself. She’s suffered too much loss in her life to fall prey to the dangerous charm of a human who is a dead man walking. And she carries a devastating secret Bo could never imagine…

But when Kaia is taken by those who mean her deadly harm, all bets are off. Bo will do anything to get her back—even if it means striking a devil’s bargain and giving up his mind to the enemy…

The eleventh novel in the New York Times bestselling paranormal romance series, Shifters Unbound.

Angus Murray, bouncer for a New Orleans Shifter bar, is sent to round up an elusive, Collar-less Shifter woman, Tamsin Calloway, who is causing trouble for Shifter Bureau, and possesses information they want. If Angus refuses, he risks losing his cub. He finds Tamsin but she’s slippery and not about to be rounded up quietly.

In fact, quiet is nothing Tamsin will ever be. She leads Angus on a wild chase, but he’s determined to bring her in to save his son.

Can Tamsin convince Angus she’s worth helping before she’s locked away by Shifter Bureau, Collared, or perhaps killed?

So these are my picks for Spring 2018.
I’d love to hear what yours would be?

    • Hope you enjoy your spring pick

  3. I’m yet to read anything by Nalini Singh but I’ve heard so much about her and she’s someone I really wanna try so I might pick Ocean Light when it hits the bookstores in summer 😀

    • Singh is amazing. I do highly recommend reading her books in order. Their is just so much world building, character developments and connection between them. I started off with her Psy-Changeling which now has moved into the Psy-Changeling Trinity series. It’s still all part of the same world just the time has moved on. I’ve also tried her Guild Hunter series. That is an interesting one. Haven’t had the pleasure yet of doing her Contemporary Romance but it’s on my TBR. So many authors who start out in PNR/UF are moving into the CR genre now.

  4. That midnight wolf cover is beautiful !!! Shared on all my socials!!

    • It is beautiful. Thank you for sharing! ^_^

  5. I was going to put Ocean Light in mine too, but I couldn’t decide if it was a spring or summer release, so I saved it. Love your picks. They are mine too! I have the ebook for Midnight Wolf, but I’m kind of hoping I get the audiobook soon. I love this series in audio.

    • I don’t have a lot of books I’m excited for this year, so my selection wasn’t big.
Ocean Light is on the threshold from spring to summer. ^_^ I stuck it in their because it’s one I’m very excited for.

  6. Midnight Wolf was very good. Definitely there with you on Ilona Andrews. Ee!
