Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – April 2018

April was a nice month. I got to spend more time outside. Which I truly love. My flower garden is doing spectacular this year too. I bought a bunch of new flowers to try out. My son helped me pick out the flowers. The blue flower plant is the one he really wanted, since blue is his favorite color. As you can see I got them planted and they are doing spectacular in the garden. My rose bush is also coming back to life thanks to the Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food I got to spray on my plants.

I also bought some set cushions for my plastic chairs outside. Now everyone has a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the backyard and garden.

  2. So Nice post

  3. Looks like a great month. So many fun books and movies. I only have daffodils up. The lilies are just starting to come up. My grass is growing, which is a great for my pastures. Have a great May.

  4. The flowers look great! I envy your green thumb! I wish that Ella Summers book would hurry up and come out in audio. I’m been watching Tantor’s review sheet for months waiting for the next book!

    • I haven’t listen to Ella Summers, but I sure am enjoying the books. I still need to read 6, but I’ve got a family vacation coming up in two weeks, so I’m hoping I can get some time. My flowers where’t doing so well last year, but I’m getting back into the swing of gardening and I’m happy they are doing well this year. ^_^

  5. Wow, you have a lot here. I read many of your posts but mostly I lurk without commenting. There’s a few things here. I used to be a huge gardener and have about 40 great gardening books. If you want blue, purple or white flowers that bloom for several months and are only about 1o inches high you want campunula carpatica. It’s a perennial and I love it. When you get to the Charley Davidson series, you want to listen rather than read. As always I appreciate your posts, and your comments on my posts. Anne – Books of My Heart

    • Thank’s for the flower suggestion. I still have space left in the garden to add to it. I’m taking my time each year picking out something new to add until it’s full. I’m not sure what will live and work, so I’m going slow. My rose bush looked like it was a goner last year, but it’s bounced back thank’s to the plant food I’m doing now. Some plants also work better in different areas of the US. I use to live in the IN, so what grows their doesn’t always work out here in CA with all the sun and not much rain.
I started the Charley Davidson series last year, but I haven’t picked up any of the books this year so far. Everyone recommend the audiobooks and that is what I’ve been doing with the series. The series just hasn’t grabbed me. I like, but it’s not an all consuming one after the other type series to me.
You are welcome Anne. I like swinging by and sharing and/or commenting. ^_^ Have a great May!

  6. ok I think I’m going to do a cozy mystery book thing…(Reading lol) any recommendations? I could use a good laugh as well..love cats (I like dogs but I love cats) I know its weird to say laugh and murder mystery but I don’t want to be scared out of my knickers

    • I’ve not had a lot of luck in the cozy mystery genre in finding something that I like, but I have been enjoying the Beechwood Harbor Magic Mystery series. It’s light fun and magical plus it’s got a cat ^_^. I’m also enjoying the Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum series too. It’s also got a cat in it. Hope you find something to enjoy! Have a great May and happy reading.

  7. Awesome wrap up!! Love the flower pictures so pretty!! Shared on all my socials!!
