Prime Book Box for Kids

Amazon is rolling out a Prime Box for Kids. It’s by invite only at this time. I’ve never done a box of books before, even the adult boxes that get offered from other company’s I’ve not done. I use my library or I buy the books I want when I want, but I received an invite to the program and will be trying out the service. I feel more apt to do this for my kid then to splurge on myself. I’ll share with you what I get and how we liked the books once the program gets started.

What is Prime Box for Kids?

Story time just got better with Prime Book Box, a subscription that delivers hand-picked children’s books every 1, 2, or 3 months. Discover new favorites that inspire a love of reading—new adventures await in every box!

I was born and raised in Northern Indiana. I’m an outdoor sun loving reader living near San Fransisco. I’m a mother, wife, dog owner, animal, and book lover. I’m the owner, reviewer, and mind behind Angel’s Guilty Pleasures. My favorite animals are horses & dogs. As for reading I love all things paranormal & urban fantasy. My favorite shifters are dragons!

I hadn’t heard of this box. Sounds like a great thing for parents of little kids!

OMG I got the first box from indigo that was an autographed book and then ordered the next one (both YA books) and NOW I CAN’T BRING MYSELF to read the autographed copies LOL…yikes…. I’ve been super lucky and have won copies of books that I already have read… like I can’t bring myself to defile that book

I’ve never subscribed to a box subscription service. I like to know what I’m buying. I think the idea of one for kids is great. They tend to be less picky about reading and read more books in a day since they are shorter. I think it would be a great way for kids to find new favorites.

Neat idea!! I hope it turns out good,I have been involved in the past with book boxes for adults and they either send shitty reads or send them out rapidly and when you don’t like the selections and what to stop or send them back it takes for ever to get your money back or get out. Please let us know how it goes,I’m a big believer in getting kids into reading!! Shared on all my socials!!
