Prime Book Box for Kids

Posted on by

Amazon is rolling out a Prime Box for Kids. It’s by invite only at this time. I’ve never done a box of books before, even the adult boxes that get offered from other company’s I’ve not done. I use my library or I buy the books I want when I want, but I received an invite to the program and will be trying out the service. I feel more apt to do this for my kid then to splurge on myself. I’ll share with you what I get and how we liked the books once the program gets started.

What is Prime Box for Kids?

Story time just got better with Prime Book Box, a subscription that delivers hand-picked children’s books every 1, 2, or 3 months. Discover new favorites that inspire a love of reading—new adventures await in every box!

Prime Book Box saves you up to 35% off List Price, and provides the best value on books sold by Amazon.com.

What’s in a Prime Book Box?

    • I’m more apt to try something for my kid then for me. We got our first box and so far have enjoyed our two books. Thank’s Nicole for visiting.

  3. OMG I got the first box from indigo that was an autographed book and then ordered the next one (both YA books) and NOW I CAN’T BRING MYSELF to read the autographed copies LOL…yikes…. I’ve been super lucky and have won copies of books that I already have read… like I can’t bring myself to defile that book

    • It’s nice to win books and especially if they are signed. Glad you enjoyed your first box of books from indigo. The program hasn’t started yet for the Kids Box of Books. They are just signing people up, but I’m excited to see what we might get and how my son will like them. Thank’s Sabina for stopping in.

  4. I’ve never subscribed to a box subscription service. I like to know what I’m buying. I think the idea of one for kids is great. They tend to be less picky about reading and read more books in a day since they are shorter. I think it would be a great way for kids to find new favorites.

    • That’s what I think too. I’m so picky on my own books and so I never did any of the book box subscriptions, but with kids especially the young age 2-10 they get as picky as adults, so they are more likely to enjoy the books. I’m going to try it out just a while and see how it goes. I like that it has an option of every 1, 2, or 3 months. So you don’t have to do month. Thank’s Melanie for stopping in.

  5. Neat idea!! I hope it turns out good,I have been involved in the past with book boxes for adults and they either send shitty reads or send them out rapidly and when you don’t like the selections and what to stop or send them back it takes for ever to get your money back or get out. Please let us know how it goes,I’m a big believer in getting kids into reading!! Shared on all my socials!!

    • This well be my first time doing a book box thing. I’m curious to see what they send and if we will like it. I’ve always been hesitant to start one for an Adult, just because i’m so picky on what I read. I do love my library and still feel it’s a great place to get books for everyone in the family, but it’s also nice to receive stuff in the mail and my son LOVES it when a package arrives for him. I’ll keep everyone posted on how it works out and what we get.
