I found this tag on Under The Covers Book Bog

OMG It’s June already. Where is the year going? We are halfway through 2018 and what better way to talk about the year so far then with books.

Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag  for 2018

Best book you’ve read in 2018?

I’ve been doing a lot of re-reading, but I’ve also picked up a few 2018 New Releases and some new to me older titles. I couldn’t just pick one, so here are my picks for Best Book I’ve read in 2018:

Best sequel you’ve read in 2018 (It’s the second book in a series)?

New Release you haven’t read yet, but you want to (Release that are out)?

Most anticipate release for the second half of the year (Not out yet)

Biggest disappointment of the year?

Most surprising book of this year?

Favorite new author?

Keri Arthur with Spook Squad Series, Kirsten Weiss with her Perfectly Proper Paranormal Museum Series, & Ella Summers with her Legion of Angels Series.

Newest fictional crush?

Berg our lovable grizzly bear from Hot and Badgered, Fearghus the Destroyer from Dragon Actually, General Silas Dravenko from Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon, & former army ranger Daniel Porter from Can’t Hardly Breathe.

Newest favorite character?

Linus from the Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy series is starting to grow on me. He shines in How to Break an Undead Heart and I’m looking forward to see and learning more about him.

A book that made you cry?

How to Break an Undead Heart had me crying the last 25% of the book & Unchained by a Forbidden Love was just an emotional read all together.

A book that made you happy?

All the books I read pretty much make me happy. The latest one was my listen of The Mane Attraction. The Pride series is outrageously silly and funny.

Favorite book to movie adaptation?

I don’t have one.

Favorite book review you’ve posted this year?

 I like all my reviews.

Most beautiful book you have bought this year?

Hmmm…
Well paperbacks that I bought this year:

Ebooks I’ve bought this year (All of the Legion of Angels Covers):

Audiobooks I’ve bought this year (Most of the Kate Daniels covers I like):

What books do you need to read by the end of the year?

Let’s see I want to read Into the Fire before I start Shades of Wicked. Then I have these review books I need to read this year: Rebel Bear, Danger’s Race, Danger’s Cure, Fighting for Everything, and Tempting Jupiter.

Did any of your favorites make my list?

    • I’ve got Arthur’s other series books on my TBR to try. One day. I had fun with the Spook Squad ^_^. Any new release from the Andrews team and I’m all happy and giddy as a child. Can’t wait. Thank’s Anna for visiting.

  4. Ella Summers was definitely a stand out for me when I read them. I’m still waiting on that last one to come out in audio. I’m soon going to give up and just read it!

    • I still need to read book 6… I got it, but haven’t picked it up. It’s funny how sometimes it takes a while for the books to come out in a different formate. Thank’s for visiting.

  5. Awesome book tag angela!! Lots of great reads!! Shared on all my socials!!

    • Glad you enjoyed. Thank’s for sharing and visiting.

  6. Looks like Undead Heart is something to consider, but it’s not the first in the series? Fighting for Everting by Laura Kaye is great – I recommend it. Anne – Books of My Heart

    • Nope Undead Heart is the third. That series you do need to read in order. I enjoyed Kaye’s MC Romance, so I was/am hoping I like this new one too. I meant to read it sooner, but life has been life!! Thank’s Anne for visiting.

  7. Great post Angela thanks for sharing!

    • Your are welcome! Glad you enjoyed.
