Madness is sweeping through Cougar Creek, and Flint wants no part of it. The fever has two of his brothers in love already, and Flint is damned if he’s giving up the bachelor life to tie himself to one female, but when a perimeter sweep has him running into an exotic and enthralling beauty who rouses his instincts as a cougar shifter and a male, the hunt is on.

All Yasmin is interested in is making sure her friend, Ivy, is safe, but the alluring black-haired man with a wicked smile she meets on the path to the creek has her thinking about other things. When an incident at Cougar Creek leads to her revealing a secret, and Flint’s persistence pushes her to a rash decision, her entire world is in danger of being turned upside down.

With the gathering in full swing, and males determined to prove their worth to Yasmin, Flint discovers he’s not immune to the madness sweeping through the creek, because he’ll do whatever it takes to claim victory and win Yasmin’s heart… no matter how dangerous it is.

Courted by her Cougar is book three in the Cougar Creek Matesseries by Felicity Heaton. It can read as a stand alone, but also can be read after Claimed by her Cougar.

Heaton takes us into the lovely Canadian woods with a bunch of cougar shifters who will soon be getting together for the pride gathering.

Yasmin has come looking for her friend, Ivy, who is featured in Claimed by her Cougar. She want’s to make sure her friend is safe. The author treats us to a surprise as to what Yasmin is. We all think she’s human, but we soon learn differently.

Flint is a hot head and a love’em and leave’em kind of guy. He’s watched his two older brothers fall in love and bond with their life mates, but that’s not for him, not until he meets Yasmin.

Yasmin and Flint are instantly attracted to each other, but they both fight it. Yasmin because Flint is only after a one night stand and him because he’s scared of his feelings. Their romance’s has a little conflict in that a courting challenge has been issued. Yasmin accepted even though she didn’t know what it entailed and so the challenges and courting being.

Courted by her Cougar is a quick read. I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next in the series.

  1. I haven’t read this author. I think because it’s PNR and I read more UF. Of course, PNR is easier to read individual books since normally they complete one romance. But PNR tends to lead with romance and I tend to prefer the UF lead with the mystery / action. Anne – Books of My Heart

  2. Glad to hear you are enjoying this series, if not totally swooning over them.

    • Ya not swooning, but still enjoying. They aren’t as deep as other’s have been. They are the insta-love/attraction/mate stories.

  3. Hmm… I am not loving the whole insta love thing with the romance. I hope the next book is stronger for you.

    • The are a nice change from my heavy reads, but I do prefer more depth and action/conflict for the characters. They are enjoyable, but I’m not swooning over them.

  4. Thanks for your review. I have not yet read it but look forward to it soon.

    • Hope you enjoy!! ^_^

  5. Great review angela!! Shared on all my socials!??

    • I’d recommend starting with her Eternal Mates series, but she does have a lot of great series books out their. I hope you do enjoy when and if you do try her. Thank’s for visiting.

  7. Is this a spin off of her other series? For some reason I thought it was so I hadn’t signed up for any of the books. They sound good though. I’ll have to give them a try.

    • It’s part of the Eternal Mates World, but they ca be read without having read that series. They are nice for a quick read and in-between heavy reads.
