Joy of Christmas Book Tag

Posted on by

I found this fun Christmas tag on Tea and Biscuits back in Dec. 2017 and she found it originally at Zezee Books. I’ve been waiting a whole year to share The Joy of Christmas Book Tag with everyone.

ANTICIPATION: The Christmas excitement is real; What book release(s) are you most anticipating?

CHRISTMAS SONGS & CAROLS: What book or author can you not help but sing it’s praises?

For author it is most definitely the Andrews team, Ilona Andrews. I can’t express how AMAZING this writing duo is. EVERYTHING they write is GOLD. I’ve adored almost everything they have written. The only one I didn’t care for was Origins (Alphas, #0.5), so much. It was darker then what I’ve seen from them. Also it only taped into the world and we didn’t get enough to really fall. And I also haven’t had a chance to read their early work, Kinsmen; before The Edge, Kate Daniels, Hidden Legacy, Innkeeper Chronicles and The Iron Covenant.

As for books; their are just so many I sing about. Check out my Must Read page for several of my favorites.

GINGERBREAD HOUSES: What book or series has wonderful world building?

A CHRISTMAS CAROL: Favorite classic or one that you want to read.

I haven’t read any classic books. I’m not much into the old classic’s, but their is one that I want to read: Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.

CHRISTMAS SWEETS: What book would you love to receive for Christmas?

Any book off my wish-list for Audio, Paperback’s, or Kindle. I LOVE books!

CANDLES IN THE WINDOW: What book gives you that warm fuzzy feeling?

I would have to pick the Original Heartbreakers series by Gena Showalter. All the books gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling in some way. They where sweet and adorable.

CHRISTMAS TREES & DECORATIONS: What are some of your favorite book covers?

Patricia Briggs has some of the most amazing covers for her Mercy Thompson series and Alpha & Omega series. They are artistic, colorful and eye-cacthing. Then we have Nalini Singh and her Guild Hunter series. The ones with Elena Deveraux as an Angel on the cover are my favorites. Last, Jennifer Estep and her Elemental Assassins series has some amazing and colorful covers. They fit the books and draw the eye.

CHRISTMAS JOY: What are some of your favorite things about Christmas and/or some of your favorite Christmas memories?

I love the holiday decorates, the holiday music, and the joy of family being together. Christmas was a magical time for me growing up. It was a time when everyone would get together to visit. We’d play games, sit around a fire, and just have fun!

It’s almost Christmas, so why not have some fun with a bookish tag.
