Argan’s honor as a Preor warrior made him defend her. Liquid Knot’s heart demanded she save him.

Liquid Knot—hacker extraordinaire—has made mistakes in her life, but none so big as getting an alien warrior sentenced to death.  His head is on the chopping block and the Preor leader is determined to follow the letter of the law. Now, there’s only one thing she can do to prevent his death: claim the sun-colored, sexy, delicious winged male as her mate.

Argan sen Izz’bara does not regret defending Liquid Knot—his dragon’s heart would not allow him to remain silent—he regrets that she condemns herself to a mating in name only.  Yet as they spend time together, it becomes clear there is more than friendship between them. Attraction. Passion. Need.  Argan did not experience the Knowing the first time he met Liquid Knot so there is no way they could be mates. Right?

Before the question can be answered, someone in the shadows makes his displeasure known. Argan was supposed to die. Now his enemy is intent on destroying Argan and Lily both.

Can he save her from a rampaging Preor again? Or will he fail her just as he has failed so many?

Argan is book ten in the Dragons of Preor series by Celia Kyle as Erin Tate.

Argan is a Preor male. He has been jailed for threatening a Master to protect a female. His fate is set, until the damsel comes to his rescue.

Liquid Knot aka Lily is a human female who is a tech genius. She’s been working for the Preor’s for some time now and in this story she does the rescuing.

Our couple, Argan and Lily, boy do they have a lot of sexual tension and HOT moments; before they do finally seal the deal at the end of the book. Oh boy, was that a fire cracking moment. I do want to point out that the author did have a sex scene on the beach and that was not for me. I cringed; because if you’ve been on a beach you know sand gets in places you don’t want it. It’s not a place to explore those urges.

I adored the ship, which is now Penelope, who has taken on a mind of it’s own. It’s fun and a little disconcerting, but more on the fun side since she’s more like a human female with attitude.

I had a lot of fun with this one. I loved our couples banter and how they helped each other. I loved the change up were a female does the rescuing and claiming instead of the other way around. It was great! We also get a new element introduced in this book, wrist cuffs. These cuffs tie two people together who are not mates or don’t have the Knowing. It was interesting to have this change.

Argan was fun read.

  1. Sounds really fun. I love the idea of the woman rescuing the male. It doesn’t happen nearly enough. Great review.

  6. Do not see that too much female doing the rescuing and claiming. I have been eyeing her Shifter Rogue Series. I did not know she had a dragon series. Will have to look into it.

    • Ya, I agree you don’t see the female do the rescuing or claiming much. I liked this change up. I’ve been eye some of there other series to try especially the Ujal series. That one introduces I thank the humans to other races. The Ujal show up in the begging of the Dragons of Preor series, so we see a little of them. So, I’m think they are tied in some way or not. I love dragons and reading about them. Thank’s for visiting.

  7. Oh these sound a interesting! A ship that develops a mind of it’s own? That is definitely different! Are these aliens or dragons or both? It seems like you are really enjoying this series.

    • They are dragons or men with wings who turn into full dragons. It’s been a fun sci-fi series. I really liked this one. The characters where great and the ship, it was cool to see it evolve and become it’s own person with a personality. Lily has been messing with the ship, so it was bound to become something more. ^_^
