Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – July 2019

Posted on by

WELCOME to July’s
Monthly Wrap Up

On a personal note: July was full and eventful! We had summer camps, three birthday’s; Me and My hubby both turned 37 & grandpa turned 70, and last we went on vacation to visit family.

For Summer Camps we had an all day Cooking Camp that my son loved. He wants to be a chief and own his own restaurant when he grows up. Now this can change, but for now it’s what he has planned. Then we did half day Legarza All-Sport Camp.

Next was my and my husband’s birthday. We are only 5 days apart. I got a Kindle Paperwhite, (which I’ve been wanting) an adult coloring book, a grave boat, and something that lights up at night outside. I also bought 2 books for myself (Stacking The Shelves) and a cover for my Kindle Paperwhite.

After that we went on vacation for the last two weeks in July to Chicago, IL and Syracuse, IN. Their we visited both sides of the family and celebrated Baba’s Birthday. Everyone had a blast on vacation. We did all kinds of water activities at my mom’s place in Syracuse; since she lives on the lake their. Then in Chicago we went to the ball park and saw a White Sox game, The Field Museum, sailing, and more. Tons and tons of fun was had all around.

If you follow on instagram you’ll see all the fun actives we did this month plus bookish stuff as well.

Last my garden is coming along. I bought a few new flowers to add.

On The Blog This Month

Around the Blogasfere!

Caffeinated Reviewer had a wonderful post on blog maintenance. I highly recommend reading it. —- I’ve had my blog since 2014 and the only thing I’ve done is keep my plugins up to date, clean up my side bar, and make sure my social links work. I’d not considered deleting old irrelevant posts, but after reading her post I decided to get ride of all my old Sunday Posts, Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up up to 2017, Cover Reveals, and the Weekly New Releases + a few other posts. I deleted over 1,050 posts. That’s not bad. I’m also working on fixing the posts I did back in 2014/2015 before I moved my blog to the purchased wordpress address. Before when I started I was on the free blogger. I transferred all those old posts. I’ve every once and while gone back to fix them, but this month I worked really hard. I still have a lot to do, but things are looking better.

Congratulations to all the winners this month!

This was a slow reading month and I really haven’t felt like reading. I’ve been in a TV bing mood, I had a vacation that was busy, and all the summer actives with my kid.
Bobbing for Bodies, Pumpkin Spice Sacrifice, How to Wake an Undead City, Storm Cursed, & Dragon Fire: Vale of Stars.

Thank you for visiting!
Have a wonderful August.

  1. Wow a busy month! You used to do the Sunday Post? Happy belated birthday!

  2. So glad you had such a great vacation! It sounds like a lot of fun! I am having a hard time deleting posts. I am a hoarder I think! It’s just that I put work into them and hate to see it go in the trash. I really should do it though, there are a lot of posts that could probably come down. Good job getting through so many of yours!

    • It’s a work in progress for cleaning up the blog and deleting posts that are no longer relevant. The vacation was fun and busy. No down time, but nice to visit family. Thank’s for stopping in.

  3. Glad you had an awesome vacation!
