30th – September 5th – Have you ever enjoyed the same book in two or more formats (print, ebook, or audiobook)? (submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books)

Yes, I have. I’ve got Ilona Andrews on audio-buy and I buy all the formate’s available: audio, eCopy, and physical. One series Dragon Kin by G.A. Aiken I read and loved them so much that I went to my library online selection and found them on Audio. I loved the audios as well and got more out of it then before. Reading is wonderful, but sometimes you miss things or don’t fully understand the characters, until you do an audio. Another series I love in any formate is the Psy-Changeling series by Nalini Singh. Yep, I do two or more formats a lot now.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and for more information check out her blog. Each week a new Top Ten list will be featured. Everyone is welcome to join! A list of 10 is just a suggestion, but you can do a list of 3 or 5 or 20.

September 3: Books I Enjoyed That Are Outside of My Comfort Zone (i.e., a genre you don’t typically read or subject matter you’re not usually drawn to)

I don’t usually read Historical Romance, but a few where good and I enjoyed them. I also don’t read many Contemporary Romance, but I’ve found a few that captured me.

  1. Cornwall’s whole series was pretty fun 🙂 Great covers, too!

    • I still need to read the others in Cornwall’s series. I really had fun with the first book, just never got back to the others. Thank’s for stopping bye.

  2. I often do rereads via audiobook (especially if it’s a series I want to refresh my memory on) and I agree that you get something a little different out of a book that way.

    • Totally agree. I like listening to a series I enjoyed reading. Thank’s for visiting!

  3. Yes to Archangel’s War – I was lucky to have an early copy – I hope you enjoy!! And are you all caught up on Elemental Assassin?? I also auto read and listen to all things Ilona Andrews, although I’m a bit bummed they aren’t using Renee Raudman any longer. Still, a must listen for all their books! Hope you have a good week!

    • Nope not caught up on Elemental Assassin. Slowly plugging away at the books. I could have requested an early ARC, but my reading has been all over lately, so I didn’t want to commit. Thou I’m fist in line with my library Wait List for Archangel’s War. I agree on Ilona Andrews and not using Renee Raudman for audio – thou I love everything Andrews. I still haven’t read Sweep of the Blade, I really want the Audio. I keep waiting.

  4. I’m so ready for Archangel’s war!!!

    • I’m the first on the wait list at my library for Archangel’s War. ^_^
