Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – Nov. 2019

WELCOME to November’s
Monthly Wrap Up

AYSO Soccer ending this month on the 16th, until then my Saturdays where dedicated to soccer all day long.  Our team made it all the way to the Semi-Finals.  That’s awesome!  The kids where sad that we lost the Semi-Final and didn’t make it to the Finals.  We also had our end of the year Team Party and all the kids got engraved medals.  The parents got my hubby, coach, some nice gifts for coaching and dedicating his time to the team.

We decorated the second weekend in November for Christmas.  We’ve got family coming for Thanksgiving and we will celebrate both holidays with them since they won’t be back.  We do this every year.  Not easy for those that live far away to make it out for both holidays.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I baked a bunch of stuff for Thanksgiving. I did the Breakfast Casserole with Bacon (great for any meal), Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies, Pumpkin Pie, & Banana Cream Pie Fluff.

  2. The team did a great job! So wonderful for you all to celebrate both holidays for your family. Will you celebrate again on the actual day? We are having a terrible time deciding how to celebrate with my daughter who will not be home. She wants us to celebrate with her on the 19th and I want to wait until she comes home on the 27th. She’s going to Florida with her boyfriend for a week. I need the time to shop though. I might have finished over the Black Friday weekend, but I always find little things to pick up right up until the last day. I totally go overboard with this holiday!

    • It was great the team made it so far. As for Christmas we are celebrating again. We have the other set of grandparents coming for that holiday and of course his step-sister leaves an hour away, so we will with them too. I made sure that this year I didn’t buy a lot of stuff. Have a great holiday and thank’s for visiting!

  3. Hope you had a fun time celebrating both holidays with your family. Thats really neat you do that.

Hope you have a great month in December!!!

    • When you have family coming for one holiday and not the other, we do what we can and celebrate both. Now if we lived close then it would be different, but we are in CA and they are in IN. That’s far! Have a great December and thank’s for visiting.

  4. Look like you had a pretty good month!

  5. Semi-finals is a great finish to the season and how cool they honored your husband and all the kids. Way to go getting your holiday decorations up and your Thanksgiving offerings look delish.

Nice variety of books read this month. The Kristen Painter looks fun.

    Have a great December, Angela!

    • It was a great season and fabulous they made it that far. I usually wait until Dec to do the holiday decorations, but since we had family visiting we did it early. It was a great Thanksgiving and everyone loved the dessert.

It was a slow month for reading, but I got some nice ones in. Thank’s for stopping in.

  6.  A great month transitioning from fall to winter. My daughter also enjoyed soccer. It’s too early to decorate for Christmas for me, but probably next week. I love peanut butter cookies of any kind and bacon – yum!

Also I got the Library Love menu tab set up on the blog yesterday and will add each post as it happens. Happy Thanksgiving weekend. We are finally doing our turkey tonight.

    • Hope you enjoy the Turkey. I decorated early for my parents who won’t be back. We had a nice Thanksgiving and stuffed our selves on delicious food and deserts.

Ya, Library Love. I’m excited for our year of hosting the challenge and the new things we put in place. Have a great weekend!
