Kindle Unlimited Jaunt [4]

Posted on by

This month in my Kindle Unlimited Jaunt I dived into a few new to me authors and series.

The Lost Planet Series by K Webster & Nicole Blanchard – I’ve featured this series on the blog in the past. Since it’s on KU I gave it a go. Book one was not for me. Two was better. Not sure if I’ll read on, but I was happy that book two was an improvement. If the blurb intrigues you, I urge you to give it a shot. Just because it did not work for me does not mean it won’t for you.

Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn – The blurb intrigued me and I very much like having kids in a story. I think they bring something special to a story.

Pack of Lies by Hailey Edwards – I really enjoy Edwards work. I’m liking this new series which features Hadley aka Amelie from The Beginner’s Guide To Necromancy. This is her redemption. Edwards is doing a great job with this. I wasn’t sure it would work, but it is.

Rescued by the Alien Pirate by Celia Kyle & Athena Storm – I like Kyle’s work and have enjoyed many of her books, so I was expecting something good with this new series Mates of the Kilgari. Unfortunately this didn’t work for me. I was turned off by our lead, heroine, and almost all the women introduced. They where rude, ungrateful, and never once did they say Thank You to the Kilgari’s who have rescued them.

  1. This is great, and everytime I pick up KU for a few months, Edwards is one I read!

    • Edwards is a good author to read. I like to pick her up.

I was on the fence about KU when it first started, but when Amazon offered it up for free for a few months I hoped on and have been enjoying some new authors that I can’t find at my library. Thank’s for visiting!
