Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – April 2020

WELCOME to April’s
Monthly Wrap Up

Well it’s been 3 months of staying-at-home for my hubby and only 2 months for my son. The order came in March for San Francisco too self-quarantine, but my hubby was working at home long before that.  I don’t mind staying at home, but having everyone here is getting to me.

To keep myself occupied and chase away the blues I’ve been playing Breath of the Wild, walking each day, painting, working in my garden, enjoying the outdoor patio and re-listening to favorite books/series.

  1. I’m listening to Badger to the Bone right now. It’s been hard as I haven’t really been listening to audiobooks right now. I need to change some of my habits. Like chowing down on candy while I play video games. Besides the weight I’ve no doubt gained, my grays are showing and my bangs are in my eyes. I’m scared about what I will look like when this is over. I may watch videos on cutting bangs. I hope my stylist doesn’t kill me!

    • I saw one video on how to cut bangs. It looked good you use a comb then twist it around once or something before you cut. I know my hair is long and it’s in desperate need of a cut.

At least I’m limiting my candy in take. It’s hard though since all we do is sit around most of the day.

I’m finally back into books, mainly audiobooks. I’m having a hard time picking up a physical or eCopy book, but the audios I’ve gotten back into. Maybe it’s because I’m walking everyday. Who knows!

      Stay safe! Happy Reading!

  2. You got so much done this month!
The husband is building garden boxes for our backyard this weekend… I’m super excited to start our gardening journey! 🙂

    • That’s wonderful you are getting garden boxes. I hop you enjoy the journey with your garden. It was a nice month. Things have settled and we’ve got a routine that works.

  3. I can imagine when you’re used to a little time to yourself that it would be stifling sharing space for so many weeks at a time. I don’t have to share because mine works for UPS so he’s actually been gone longer than usual working the extra hours. I do love working on my garden and am hoping to plant my seedlings soon now that the snow and frost seems to have stopped.
Great job on your reading stack. I’m reading through the Mercy Thompson series, too, as audios from the library. 🙂

    Have a good May, Angela!

    • Mercy Thompson is an awesome series and I like revisiting. Silence Fallen and after are new to me for audio though I have read them. I love Adams POV in Silence Fallen. I wish we got more Adam POV’s ^_^.
I’m so happy it’s starting warm up and I can spend more time outside. I get the whole backyard to myself, so it’s a place I can go to get some space and I love working in the garden.
That’s great your snow and frost are leaving and you can finally get out and work in your garden. I love seeing new growth.

  4. If I had a garden I’d probably be in it all the time too.

    • Being outside is the best! ^_^
