WELCOME to May’s
Monthly Wrap Up
What did I do in May? I stayed home… We are still staying home and not going out. The only out is us walking around the block or bike riding on our street. We did buy a treadmill. My husband has bad allergies and every time he goes out he has issues, so we picked one up. I’ve not been into reading/listening and I’m in another slump. What I have been doing is watching TV shows on Amazon Prime. My current two shows are Chicago P.D. and Law & Order SVU. Chicago P.D. has a lot of episodes that continue or pop over from the other Chicago shows like Chicago Med and Fire, so I’m missing out on a lot of plot and completion of episodes; because the other Chicago series’s aren’t on Prime. Not sure what I’ll watch next. Any Prime suggestions?
The other news in life is that school is over. THANK GOODNESS!! My son has completed grade two. No news on wither school will start in the fall. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I don’t want to have to teach again. I had to do so much online research and video watching to figure out his work and make sure I was teaching him correctly.
It’s been a really slow month on reading/listening for me. I’m in another slump….
It’s A Wonderful Midlife Crisis (ARC), Wild Cat (Audio), The Beast In Him (Audio), The Mane Event (Audio) & Born of Darkness (Audio).
Congratulations to all the winners this month!

I’m in such a slump too. Totally immersed in my video game. I am actually getting really behind in my GR challenge. I can’t seem to work AND listen to audiobooks, so since I’m not driving, I’m not listening. It’s bad. I can’t imagine what you parents of school age children went through. Things are so different now, and I’ve been out of school for so long, I doubt I would have been any help whatsoever!

I’m sure you’ll get over the slump. Ya, everything is different. Have a great month.

My reading was down, too. I don’t know if it is a slump as much as I find myself wanting to be outside even if its just working around the yard more than reading and I do listen to books sometimes, but sometimes I just want to be quiet and let my mind drift. Your poor hubby. I’m hoping to listen to Born of Darkness soonish.
Yay for school being out and hopefully you aren’t homeschooling next school year.
Have a great June, Angela!

We still have no word on school for 2020-2021. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t have to homeschool again. As for reading… I’m just not into it. I want to bing TV or just sit outside and listen to nature. I have been doing more audiobooks this year, but my reading is still down. Can’t focus.
Have a wonderful June. Thank’s for visiting.

I’m 30+ reviews to do. I just don’t have the drive to review anymore. I do get the ARC’s reviews within a week of finishing, but everything else just sits until I feel like it. At least I put down my initial thoughts. Reading has been really slow this year.
Hackett is a great author. I really enjoy her work! Have a great week and happy reading.
