Books I Loved but Never Reviewed

I’ve got a list on Goodreads that are books I’ve read, but still need reviewing.  I used to be really good about reading then reviewing next day, but the last few years I’ve slowed down and just feel like reading and reading and not doing a more formal review.  I do add my intel quick thoughts.  I’ll get to them, but it will be when I feel like it.

Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs – She’s one of my favorite authors to read.  The Mercy Thompson series is one of my favorites and one I’ve read many many times.  I started the series before the blog.  Now I’m working on doing reviews for the older titles, but these three I still haven’t reviewed, yet.

Dark Arts and a Daiquiri (The Guild Codex: Spellbound, #2) by Annette Marie – I loved book one and two.  Great Urban Fantasy.  It’s fast-paced, entertaining, and wonderful characters.  I devoured this one in a day.

Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries Series by Angie Fox – New to me series and author.  Great mystery and fantastic characters.  I love the gangster ghost our heroine gets stuck with.  He’s so much fun!  I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy, but once I started book one I was hooked and then I had to devour them one after the other.

The Wild Hunt by Yasmine Galenorn – New to me series this year.  Great Urban Fantasy.  I devoured the books.  It’s got great mysteries in each book, fabulous characters, great world building, and its full of magic.  I like following Ember and watching her grow and learn about her Fae half’s.

Death Before Dragons series by Lindsay Buroker – I just discovered this author and I’m enjoying her Urban Fantasy.  It’s got lots of things I love; dragons, fun characters, action, mystery, and more.  I’ve been devouring the books one at a time.

I’d love to hear from you!

  1. I don’t think I’d have ten whole books for this category since I almost always review books I love with only a few exceptions. Glad to see these books that might have gotten overlooked get some love!

  2. Since I started the blog, I bet I can count on one hand the number of books I didn’t write a review for… in fact, I bet it’s one or less. Even if I don’t review on the blog, I still write one for Goodreads. I find I struggle NOT writing reviews… it stresses me not to. I’m just weird.

    • Ya, I try to write my initial thoughts on Goodreads and when I feel like it I return to write something more. I just don’t feel like writing reviews anymore. I was more dedicated when the blog started, but now I just want to read that’s it. If I have an ARC I read and write right away. Thanks for visiting and sharing!

  3. Southern Spirits looks like such an amusing read.

    • It’s a fun series and very amusing. Hope you enjoy. Thank’s for visiting and committing, Lydia.

  4. I review most of the books I read these days, but more and more often, I’ve enjoyed just reading a book with my reader hat on instead of my reviewer one. Yes! Love Southern Ghost Hunter with Frankie, too. 🙂

    • I rarely request any ARC’s these days, so all the books I read are my mood reads. I try to review all the books I read, but now I just feel like reading and if I do review it might be later. I do try to give my initial thoughts on the books I read. These featured all are 4 or 5 stars. I loved them and recommend reading. Thank’s for visiting and chatting Sophia.
