  2. My mother-in-law had breast cancer and we participated in several fundraisers on her behalf.

  3. My parents both died of cancer, and my late grandmother had breast cancer. I self-check and am aware of changes.

  4. Love the cover! We have breast and lung cancer in our family. Such as hard disease.

  23. As the daughter of a woman who had unrelated breast cancer in both breasts, I strongly recommend mammograms which caught hers in the early stages before they could be felt.

  30. Thank you for this! It’s extremely important to raise awareness of these issues and destigmatize both suffering them AND talking about them; we should be able to have frank conversations about our bodies so we know what to expect, what to look out for, etc…

    As for a book with pink on its cover, I gotta recommend Places No One Knows by Brenna Yovanoff, because the characters feel so real it hurts, it’s wonderful.
