Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – Jan. 2021

Posted on by

Welcome To January’s
Monthly Wrap Up

Happy New Year Everyone!  The first month of 2021 has flown by.  It’s been a very slow month on the blog and in real life.  My boy had the first week in Jan. off from school.  We where doing lots of crafts and playing with our puppy Panda.  Everything is closed around use, so we miss out on visiting all the cool things.  Also grandparents usually visit for Christmas and New Year, but not this year due to COVID.  It’s been hard on all of use having to stay home and not visit our friends and family.

Panda is doing wonderful!  She has brought many smiles and laughs to our home.  Visit Instagram for all the cute puppy pictures on Panda.  We went to the park for the first time with her.  She did very well with all the excitement, kids, and other dogs. This picture below is our first visit to the park.  She had a blast!

This year I’m taking things slower on the blog.  I just don’t have the drive to put together posts or reviews and it just doesn’t help that my son has to use my computer for his virtual learning.  I’m one of those people that does their best work in the morning when I have the drive.  Maybe this summer I’ll get reviews written on all the books I’ve been reading, but until then my initial thoughts are posted to Goodreads.  Don’t fret the blog is still going and I’m still posting, just taking things slower.   I’m also trying to share more on Instagram and Facebook.

January saw an uptake in my reading.  This happens every year.  I start off strong then slow down, but last year (2020) I really slowed down and struggled.  I’m hoping 2021 is an improvement and I can complete my reading goals.

For Jan. 2021 I read/listened too:
Booked for Murder, Called by the Bear Book 1, Captured for the Alien Bride Lottery, Entered in the Alien Bride Lottery, Best Friends, Happily This Christmas (Audio), Alpha Night (Audio), Proof of Life, Moment of Truth (Jan. Release), Blood Heir (Jan. Release), Barbarian’s Tease, Lauren’s Barbarian, The Barbarian Before Christmas, Veronica’s Dragon, Gail’s Family, Willa’s Beast, Angie’s Gladiator, Heart of Malice, Shadow Thief, Witching For Grace, Witching For Hope, Claim of Eon, Hannah’s Hero, The Breed Next Door, Devi’s Distraction, Nadine’s Champion

  1. Panda is a cutie and I’m glad the first time at the park went well. No worries if you need to slow down on the blog.
Way to go on your reading pile!

    Have a good February, Angela!

    • We love Panda. She’s added to our house and it’s great. Having everyone at home has been challenging, so my drive to things has gone down. I just can’t keep my interest wither it’s reading, blog, painting, coloring, etc… I’m hoping for a change when school is done and the weather is nicer. Maybe more outdoor time will help. For now I’m just taking it day by day. Thank’s for visiting and ya, this month was great for reading.

  2. You did have a great month of reading in January with some excellent books. I’m hanging in there but my back injury is frustrating me. I’m behind on things I plan to do. I’m a firm believer in doing what you can and don’t stress yourself.

I’m so excited to see Panda!

    • COVID and having everyone home has changed my life.I miss having that drive or interest in things. Now I’m just trying to take it day by day. I hope the back is healing. It’s no fun to be injured especially if you’re active. Hope you get better soon. We love Panda and I like sharing all the cute pictures I get. Thank’s for visiting!
