WELCOME TO AUGUST’S WRAP UP
OMG August is over! We only have 4 months left in 2021. Where did all the time go?
This month we visited the Zoo twice. We didn’t go anywhere or do anything.
School started back up for us. We are so excited and a bit nervous for our kid to head back too in person schooling, but glad that the kids can go back. The first week was nice! It’s nice to be back into a routine. For me I’m happy to have some non-interrupted time now. I can actually read and think. I still haven’t written many reviews on all the books I’ve read. That drive is gone atm, but I do put down my initial thoughts on Goodreads, so make sure to follow/friend me there. I read more then I write reviews these days.
Last, I got some sad news at the end of the month. My step-dad passed away. I’ve been calling my mom everyday since it happened to check up on her and sending her silly pictures of us. She’s got a great support system and seems to be doing ok.
Have a safe and wonderful September everyone!

I can’t believe August is gone. I wanted to get out a Library email but I’ve been struggling with cold / allergies over the last couple weeks. Hopefully, I can work on it this week and get it out after Labor Day.
My condolences to you and your Mom.

No worries. Life can take over and the blog and emails will take a step back. Do what you can. Thank you for the condolences. It’s never fun to loves a loved one. When I found out my week was a mess. Nothing felt right, but I’m getting on. Have a wonderful September and thank you for visiting.

Sad about your step-dad, but glad you and others are there for your mom. Yay for the first week of school going well and letting you have some freed up time. I like to simply enjoy some of my books without having to think about a review so I appreciate your just wanting to tap out a few thoughts and get back to reading.
