Clay Bennett is a powerful DarkRiver sentinel, but he grew up in the slums with his human mother, never knowing his changeling father. As a young boy without the bonds of Pack, he tried to stifle his animal nature. He failed...and committed the most extreme act of violence, killing a man and losing his best friend, Talin, in the bloody aftermath. Everything good in him died the day he was told that she, too, was dead.

Talin McKade barely survived a childhood drenched in bloodshed and terror. Now a new nightmare is stalking her life--the street children she works to protect are disappearing and turning up dead. Determined to keep them safe, she unlocks the darkest secret in her heart and returns to ask the help of the strongest man she knows...

Clay lost Talin once. He will not let her go again, his hunger to possess her, a clawing need born of the leopard within. As they race to save the innocent, Clay and Talin must face the violent truths of their past...or lose everything that ever mattered.

I love this series. I am and will re-read the books over and over again. Nalini Singh is an amazing author who knows how to tell a story. The world she created is so in-depth and intriguing I get pulled in. Her characters work well together, complement each other, and the story is interesting and adventures.

Mine to Possess focus is about the main couple’s complicated and enduring relationship rather than the world-building aspect of the over all story. We also learn about a new aspect in the Psy-Changeling world the Human side as well as finding out about the Forgotten

Tally and Clay’s tragic, yet inspiring love story was simply phenomenal. I liked that the main couple bonded as children and where separated by tragedy and violence which marked their destinies. They are brought back together by murder and mayhem and are now getting to know each all other again.

Mine to Possess is a must read! I recommend reading the Psy-Changeling series in order, so you can understand the characters and world that Nalini Singh as created.

    • I actually bought the books since I love this series so much. I might have to try the audio. Would be good to do audio on a book/series I’ve already read.

  2. I loved Clay’s determination not to let her leave him again. Finding out that his grief and suffering all these years was a lie, was pretty rough though. This series just got better and better for me!

    • I can agree with you on the heroine. I was a little perturbed at her and what she did to Clay. It added to the story, but poor Clay. This series just gets better.
