2017 End Of The Year Book Tag

Posted on by

I ran across this tag on Under the Covers Book Blog back in November and I totally planned on doing this post in Nov, but forgot about it until now. Next year I’ll have it ready before December. ^_^ Now I’m not going to do the YouTube video like Under the Covers, but I will answer the questions below. Feel free to comment with your answers or put up your own post.

2017 End Of The Year Book Tag

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Ya, I’ve tried 2x’s to pick up and read Midnight Marked. I’ve grabbed it from my library for the 3rd time and hope this time I’ll acutely read it. Not sure why I’ve not been in the mood to read it. Maybe because it’s the second to last book in the series. I do seam to delay reading the ending of series books.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Most people pick christmas themed books or cozy mysteries. Me I enjoy them, but no matter what season we are in I’ll read anything. I think mainly at the end of the year I like to do re-reads of my favorite series. Stick with those books and authors that I love like Nalini Singh and Ilona Andrews. I have a lot of family visiting for the holidays so to really dig into something new isn’t really possible.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

All the releases I’m waiting for now will be in the new year 2018.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

Midnight Marked, Danger’s Race, & Tempted and Taken

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?

Yes! Sign up is live for the library love challenge I’m hosting along with Brooke Blogs. I will be participating in the Library Love Challenge, The Series That Never… Ends Challenge hosted by Delighted Reader, Audiobook Challenge hosted by Hot Listens and Caffeinated Reviewer, Try Something New Challenge hosted by Herding Cats & Burning Soup, Discussion Challenge hosted by Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight and the March Take Control of Your TBR Pile hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer

As for books I’m trying to read my box of books I own, grab stuff from the library, and also read those books I’ve bought on my eApps. I’m doing something fun for next year in that I’m asking you, my followers, to pick my next read for me. Stop by and help me out and once you vote you get to enter the giveaway for a $5 Amazon GC.

Well that takes care of the questions for the end of the year book tag. What are your answers to the questions?

I'm an outdoor sun loving reader living near San Fransisco. I’m a mother, wife, animal & book lover. I'm the owner, reviewer & mind behind Angel’s Guilty Pleasures.
