The last three weeks of spring break flew by. My son started 1st Grade at the end of the month. It’s a big change for all of us. He stays longer at school, does the car drop off in the morning, and has new kids to meet. His teacher seems nice. On the second day of school we had Back To School Night, where we got to visit the class room, teacher and learn a little of what they will be doing this year.
We also started AYSO soccer for the fall. Kids got to meet their couch, get uniforms, and find out when practice will be. I took the boy out before school started to get new outdoor soccer shoes and indoor. We still do the indoor soccer year round, but AYSO is only in the fall. Also during our shopping trip for new soccer shoes, we picked up a new bicycle helmet and some safety gear. I’m hoping with the new gear I can get the boy interested in riding his bicycle. He fell once when he was litter and now he doesn’t want to get back on. I’m working on that.
Last, my outdoor garden is growing. We’ve got green beans coming up, some small carrots, and lettuce too. The AreoGarden which is inside I planted green peppers and cheery tomatoes in it after the herb garden finished producing. Both indoor and outdoor gardens are looking good.

I got my Reader Rank Badge on BookSirens. It takes your information off Goodreads and complies it for you. It tells me and others my Genre Preference, Topics and Themes, and so much more. It’s interesting to have a break down of my reading.

I still have to check out the Inkeeper’s series by Ilona Andrews. I think it’s the only one I haven’t read. August was a busy month for you. I remember getting everybody ready when mine were young. Feels like forever ago!

August was a good month. I’m happy to have school back in section. Oh you will love the Innkeeper series. I know they published them on their website first, but I waited for the books to come out to enjoy. Waiting for the next chapter to be up isn’t for me. I need my fix all at once. ^_^ I’m listening to the audios this time around and loving them,
