  1. The book that got me back into reading is almost a cliche because I hear so many people say the same—Twilight. I know it’s not a perfect series, but it did get me reading again!

    • I loved the Twilight books…. I even got my hubby to read them once ^_^ LOL

  2. I have read the whole above series and loved every one!! My first book as an adult was Christene Feehans Dark Prince. That started my addiction for all things PNR.

    • Feehan was my next read after I finished Frost and the Night Huntress series. ^_^ Both great series to read. Thank’s for visiting and sharing your first book.

  3. I can’t remember if was Bitten by Kelley Armstrong, Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K Hamilton or Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. I had just finished reading all the current books in the Anne Rice vampire series. I had been reading one book a year while on vacation. I didn’t know what I wanted to try next, so I grabbed a few books to take with me on vacation and read ALL of them. I even ran out of books on that trip and wanted to read more. But was remote with no access to finding new books.

    • Oh no running out of books… That was back when no eReaders where available and all we could take with us where the physical books. I remember those days. I’m glad I no longer have to worry about running out of books. All those I’ve tried except Anne Rice. She’s on my TBR. As you know I love Briggs, didn’t get hooked by Bitten and only read the first 3 books in Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter by Hamilton and stopped. Thank’s Melanie for visiting and sharing your story on First Book.
