Well we are into December. The last month of the year and then it’s 2019. Man the year has flown by fast. November was a nice month. For those that don’t know, we live in California, and are located just out side San Fransisco and 200 miles away from the Camp Fire that broke out and destroed Paradise, CA. Due to that fire we where placed under a Red Alert Air Quality, Un-Safe, and ended up staying indoors and having our outdoor actives canceled. School still went on, but the kids where forced to stay in place and not go outside. We did have one day of school cancelation. The air was so bad and smoky. Being stuck indoors was making all of use stir crazy. We finally got rain on Thanksgiving Day, which we desperately needed and it’s been raining off and on since. YA, Rain!!
Here in America we celebrate Thanksgiving. It’s a time to give thank’s. We had a wonderful time with our family that lives in Novato, CA. I also did some baking. I made Cherry Kuchen Bars by Better Homes and Gardens and my husbands families Herr Kuchen recipe. The Herr Kuchen is great for breakfast or really anytime.

We get grassfires here every summer, so I know how uncomfortable it is to breathe smoke. I’m glad your house is safe from the fire and that you had a nice Thanksgiving. Happy December!

The smoke got really bad in SF and sounding areas. We had to wear masks to go outside, so I’m glad we where safe and that the rain came to help the fire and smoke. Thank’s AJ for visiting!

We desperately needed rain and it helped with all the smoke and fire issues near the area. We’ve been having rain off and on now since then, which is great. Rain Rain Rain
The cake is/was yummy. ^_^ Thank’s for visiting!
