April was the start of Spring Break. Grandma Rollie came to visit and we did a lot of different activities – SF Zoo, Exploratorium, Hiking, Movie Dumbo, Bowling & more. It was busy and fun! Easter is also in April and we did a little Easter Egg Hunt at home for the boy. It might be the last year he’s interested in it. He is 7.
We also did a lot of gardening. I bought some new plants to put in the garden and the old ones are doing fabulous too. I finally planted my Bonsai seeds that I got at Christmas in a starter pack for Bonsais’.
My son is also in the Cub Scouts and they did a hick this month and also they helped clean up the earth for Earth and Arbor Day. It was lots of fun all-round.
I went to see Avengers: Endgame…. OMFG All I’m going to say is take some tissues with you.
On to blog News!
I finally set up an Instagram account. Feel free to follow me their if you like. It will have pictures of nature, animal’s, books (some advertisement posts, reviews, and currently reading), Hops/Giveaways, and a few family adventures that I take. I also have it cross posting the pictures to Twitter and Facebook.
Next up I’ve set up an Amazon Influencer page. You might have seen me sharing on social media about it and in my newsletter. It gives you a place to see what products and items I’ve bought and use daily or what books/audiobooks I recommend. I would like to know: Do you like the page? Is their something you’d like to see on the shop page that isn’t their? Do you want more star rated books? What star’s do you want to see (4, 5, 3)?
Here is what I’ve read and/or listened to this month: In a Badger Way, American Witch, Mastered by Her Mates, Bring The Heat (audio), Roar (audio), Witch Slapped, Heart of Venom, Vados: The Ujal, Wolfsbane (audio), Not His Werewolf, Survive The Night (audio), The Vampire Knitting Club, Turn Coat, The Guardians (audio), Accidental Abduction, Dual Abduction, Mercenary Abduction, & Haunted on Bourbon Street.
Thank’s for visiting. Have a great May!

We just FINALLY stopped doing Easter egg hunts with my kids this year—my youngest is 14. Yes, you read that right. 14. My middle daughter loves her routine and traditions, and she has a hard time letting go. LOL!

Being in CA I get to garden almost all year long, but things get going in March/April which is nice. It was a nice month for me in my life and on the blog. Always a pleasure to have you visit Kimberly.

It sounds like you had a busy spring break. Your plants look great! It snowed here yesterday, so it’s still too early to plant anything. Have a good May!

My hubby was in Colorado the last week in April for a referring event and they got snow. WOW, It’s hard to believe that some places are still getting snow. Hopeful May will bring warmer weather and you can start to plant. Thank you! I’m really happy with my plants.
Have a wonderful May!
