Kindle Unlimited Jaunt [3]

KU was doing a special sale this winter in that you get $.99c for 3 months. I signed up again! I always wait for a deal; before I signing up for KU. I don’t need KU; because I’ve got many books already on my bookshelves I haven’t read and my library is an amazing place to try new authors, but sometimes my library doesn’t have an author. Those authors it doesn’t carry are usually Indy Authors, so to try them I have to buy or sign up for KU. KU gives me a chance to try those authors; before I deiced if I want to buy the book.

Here is what I’ve been reading:

Tribute Brides Of The Drexian Warriors by Tana Stone – I’ve only read book one. It pops up now and then as a recommendation when I’m reading other Science Fiction Romance books. I thought why not give it a try and see what I think. Tamed is book one and I wasn’t wow’d. Not sure if I’ll read on. I do like to give a series a 2 or 3 book try before giving up on it and the first book sometimes is not a winner.

The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Magic by Helen Harper – I enjoyed book 1 & 2 when I received them as gifts, so I picked up the rest of the series on KU to finish it. It’s a fun magical cozy mystery series. I recommend this series. I have plans to trying out Helen Harper’s other series, since her work is on KU.

Warlords of Atera by Celia Kyle – I enjoy Celia Kyle and her Science Fiction Romance. This is a new series and I deiced to give it a go. We have human women who where on their way to be brides to some aliens, but their ship goes down and lands on this desert plant with lizard aliens. It’s interesting. I’ll be trying more.

Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon – I like this series. I own all the books up to 11. Since I’ve got KU I’m reading them that way. We get 2 POV’s the male and female in each book. I like this. I like her Dixon’s Ice Planet and the blue aliens our human women fall in love with. Recommended series!

The Jezebel Files by Deborah Wilde – This is a brand new series by Wilde. I have to see I very much enjoyed this first book in her new Urban Fantasy series. It reminded me a little of the Hidden Legacy series by the Andrews team in that we have magic and mundane people with the Houses keeping the magic users in check and then our Heroine kinda reminded me Kate Daniels in that she ends up with some unusual magic that hasn’t been seen though it’s got it’s own unique take on all of this and the mystery(s) we are working on grab you. The story is fast-paced. Recommend this new series!

Eon Warriors by Anna Hackett – I LOVE Hackett. She is an amazing Science Fiction Romance author. Her worlds are big and build. Her characters are fun and unique. Her romance are perfect. It’s the perfect blend of everything I love. Recommend series!

  1. I use KU the same way and for the same reasons. I have plenty on my own shelf, review arcs, and through the library so a service like this is not one I have a need for. However, three months for a dollar makes me willing. 🙂 I, too, try those that I want to test drive and not available elsewhere without purchasing.
I love Ruby Dixon, Helen Harper, and Anna Hackett books, too. 🙂

    • Thank’s for stoping by Sophia. Ya I don’t need KU, but when a deal pops up for it then I pick it back up. It’s nice to try authors my library doesn’t have or won’t get. Dixon, Harper, and Hackett are great authors. I’m enjoy the books I’m reading by them.
