Angel’s Monthly Wrap Up – Sept. 2020

Welcome to September’s Monthly Wrap Up

California has been hit hard with fire’s this month.  We are in a safe area, but we do get the smoke affect and this month was really bad.  Most of the month we had to stay inside and if we go out not stay out long.  Some days our sky was colored in red, yellow, or orange.  It felt like an apocalypse!!

I’m so glad the last two weeks of the month cleared up and I could get outside.  I was feeling very down and so spending most of my days outside has helped to rejuvenate me.

This month brought us some good news!!!  For some time now we’ve been thinking about getting a new dog.  Saphira passed in February just before all the COVID stuff started.  Having to be stuck at home has dampened our moods and changed us, but new life has bounced back into us when our application for a Pembroke Welsh Corgi was accepted.  We’re ecstatic for a puppy.  My son has been talking non stop about our new edition and he’s been helping me pick out new toys and puppy items.  If you follow on Instagram then you’ve meet our new edition and seen all the cute puppy pictures the breeder has been sharing with us.  She is so adorable!!  As for a name she was called Wynonna by the breeder, but with an unanimous vote her name is PANDA.

Congratulations to all the winners this month!

  1. Oh my goodness the new puppy is adorable! Can’t wait to hear how things are going once she arrives! Looks like you got some good books read. The fire is pretty scary! I’m going to Fort Collins this coming week and I guess there is a big fire near there right now. But I was assured it should be safe still to go. Hope October is going well for you!

    • I hope it was safe for you at Fort Collins. The fires are scary, but we are lucky to be in area that hasn’t been affect except for the air quality. We all can’t wait for the puppy to arrive. I’m going to be sleep deprived when she’s here, but that’s ok. We need the quietness of a puppy and the joy the bring. Thank’s for visiting!

  2. Glad the air finally cleared enough so you could go outside for a while. I’m not one who gets depressed in the winter when there is no sun, but I do get a bit down if I can’t get outside. Panda looks adorable. 🙂
Wow, what a great stack of books you read and reviewed for the month. I read Touch of Evil, too.

    Have a great October, Angela!

    • I need that outside time and when I can’t I get a little down. Touch of Evil was a nice book. I’ve been waiting on Emme to get her own story. Thank’s for visiting!

  3. It looks like a good month. We all just do the best we can right now.

    • That is true for the “best we can.” It was a decent month. Thank’s for visiting!

  4. Those skies are terrifying, Angela but ‘Panda’ is absolutely adorable. May she bring you much happiness!

    • It was a weird day with those skies… And we are so excited for Panda. She has already changed the mood in the house even tho she’s not here yet. ^_^ Thank’s for visiting, Kate!
