It’s time for the Top 10 of 2020 and we hope you will join in.  Thank you to Books of My Heart for hosting the Top 10 of 2020.  This year was a challenge for me in reading/listening.  It started off well, but then COVID hit and I hit a few reading slumps throughout the year.  For this one I’m going to do a few Narrators and New to Me authors/series I enjoyed in 2020.

Top 10 Book Narrators & New to Me of 2020

Narrators of 2020

Emily Rankin narrated Emerald Blaze one of my favorite series is Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews. She is narrating Catalina Baylor’s story. I like her narration for Catalina and I like that each sister is getting their own books/narrators to make them distinctive.

Charlotte Kane narrate’s the Honey Badger Chronicles and the Pride series by Shelly Laurenston. I like to re-listen to the Pride series and the Honey Badger series. Though the first book is my favorite in the Honey Badger Chronicles. The characters are each unique, quirky, and fun. Kane brings out all the laughs.

Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries series is a new to me series & Tavia Gilbert is a new to me narrator. I was hooked after book one. I love Frankie the inappropriate gangster ghost that ends up becoming Verity’s side-kick and helper in the ghost world. The narration is so much fun.

New To Me

Grimm Cover series is a new to me series. It feature an over 40 heroine, a small town, and residents that are all some type of supernatural. I’m enjoying the series.

Lindsay Buroker is a new to me author and her Death Before Dragons series is my first taste. It’s an action-packed urban fantasy series. I’ve been enjoy the series.

The Wild Hunt series is a new to me series. It’s a fast paced action packed read. Full of mystery & magic. I was sucked in and now I’m hooked. Great Urban Fantasy series to read.

Witches of Keating Hollow series is a new to me series. I devoured this series one book after the other. I really enjoyed the the small magical town of Keating Hollow and the great family and friends it features plus the romances are all sweet.

  1. My favorite narrator in 2020 is probably Xe Sands – she narrated two of my favorite books this year.

    • I haven’t lessened to Xe Sands. I’ll have to check that narrator out. Thanks for visiting and sharing.

  2. Fun that you discovered so many new to you authors and a couple narrators. I haven’t listened to the Hidden Legacy series, but maybe for a re-read.

    Merry Christmas, Angela!

    • I like showcasing the New To Me category. It’s always nice to discover a new author, narrator, or series. I did a re-listen to the Hidden Legacy before Emerald Blaze came out. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the change in narration from the first 3 books into the novella and Catelina’s story, but I like that the authors did this and are giving each sister their own narration. Thank’s for visiting.

  3. I love the cover for Sinister Magic. Merry Christmas. Enjoy your holiday!

    • I do too… Enjoy your holiday and thank you for visiting!

  4. I love seeing what people have done for Your Choice. We did narrators as we are all huge audio listeners. But I like the New to Me category too.
